Please remember that while DoA (and its wiki!) are intended for an English speaking audience, not all of our members speak English as their first language.  For this reason, you should be as clear and concise as possible! Use your best grammar, spelling, and punctuation at all times... and if you see a way to improve clarity or fix a misspelling, please feel free to edit the entry.  An edit might be to contribute whole paragraphs or pages full of information, or it could be as simple as fixing a typo or spelling mistake.

It's a good idea to use the “Show preview” button to see what your change will look like, before you save it. This is also related to tracking changes because every time you save, this is displayed to others as a separate change. This isn't something to worry about too much, but it's good to get into the habit of eliminating mistakes in your own work, by using a preview before saving, rather than saving several minor corrections afterwards.

The wiki does not use the same formatting codes as the main part of the forum.

Formatting

Join in and share what you know! Do your best to be accurate and factual with your content, but rest assured that others will correct your mistakes.

Please remember that while DoA (and its wiki!) are intended for an English-speaking audience, not all of our members speak English as their first language.

  • Be as clear and concise!
  • Use your best grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
  • Feel free to fix typos and misspellings when you find them in other entries.

The wiki doesn't use the same coding as the forum part of DoA - you will need to use wiki syntax! Please see the Help: Formatting section for how to use the wiki syntax!

Edit summary
