His surname was borrowed from one of his saviors, as unicorns don't track genealogies by family title. The amulet he wears provides an artificially-generated 'glamor' that almost hides his horn. He wears hats to diminish its visibility.

Kinga was a name I'd only heard once or twice. Rare like a unicorn.

This doll's character is available for offsite roleplay.
Kinga Corpsebane is a senior student at Nightholm, a school for the magical and the magically-inclined. But Nightholm is no youth fantasy novel. Times are hard. The ancient population of the world is fading, especially in hotspots like England. Hunters roam the highlands. Steam technology is rendering cloaking charms and illusion spells ineffective. The forests are dwindling. With nowhere to go and nowhere to hide, the inhumans are reduced to living among their predators. Praying to remain undiscovered.

Unicorns are largely written off as myth, but Kinga begs to differ. He is no carnival sideshow; no common nag. Discovered by a party of vampire hunters, he was plucked from grassy slopes and deported to London before the poachers found him. Unlike the younger student body of Nightholm, Kinga is apprenticed to the legendary eyemaker, Septimus, and wishes to secure his future undeterred. As one of the only interns, he is tasked with teaching basic spellcasting in the absence of a full staff.

A dour individual, he takes himself too seriously. His waifish build is the subject of good-natured teasing within school walls, and harassment outside. Both are taken poorly, and he has no qualms with injuring those who annoy him. If probed, he may be convinced to smile with good reason. He has nonetheless familiarized himself with each student, and holds a soft spot for a few of them.

Kinga detests vampires and the current state of magical society. To his outrage, he was chosen to be the school's go-between to both a local coven, and a number of entertainers for the Vox Vulgaris, a slum-side brothel that likes to recruit unusual 'talent'.
