Unfortunate, but it probably couldn't be helped, considering. That monster was nothing to trifle with. We're lucky it wasn't immune to Sir Morton's cannon fire. A brilliant bit of quick thinking, that.

The Red Wyrm of Westerby Grange was *supposed* to be metaphorical, of course. 'Nothing but a fanciful fabrication. The Order's research indicated that it was only a frightful story meant to keep certain... Well, let's say certain unfortunate indiscretions... on the part of the late owner's family a secret. There was no way we could have known beforehand that the beast was REAL! Or that it would be quite so... so angry... over that exorcism business. Very angry... Rather unreasonably angry, if you ask me...
