Name story:

Odo is aesthetically based on a barn owl, but his character is set in an old Norse storyline. Since barn owls are a non-native species in Scandinavia, I found the closest geographic area where a barn owl could have migrated from (Germanic area) and chose a name of that origin.

Odo is a being of unknown origin on Midgard. He hatched in Jotunheim, along the banks of the Ífingr. He is often found flying along the river, weaving back and forth between Asgard and Jotunheim in a fruitless search for more of his kind.

When he is not engaged in this search, he is often found in the company of Solveig and Nova on Midgard.
