Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     Bought on eBay after seeing her for sale in the Meadow Dolls FB group; she is a Holy Grail doll for me
    Reason for choice:
    Someone posted a picture of their Patti in the Spampy FB group and I instantly fell in love, not just because her face sculpt is the most endearing I've ever seen but also because she reminded me of a character in a favorite book from childhood. I had missed out on her preorder, so my only hope of finding one was through secondhand means, and I spent months looking. Finally, I saw Patti Ann for sale and like a ninja I nabbed her. I am over the moon!!
    Best Points:
    Very posable and stands well, excruciatingly adorable, very nice size and weight, proportioned well, aside from Kestra she is my most photogenic doll (she may, in fact, exceed Kestra in photogenic tendencies), love the realistic aesthetic without it being too angular or heavy (hard to explain)

    I am slowly building her wardrobe through sewn outfits made in Etsy or other small shops, items I have knitted or crocheted myself, and tights and shoes from Dollmore. She dresses more like a traditional young child than my other dolls (my other LFs are similarly young in age but dress older and are a little more quirky), sticking mostly to dresses and tights you'd expect to see on a school child of kindergarten age or so. Vaguely 60s/70s-ish at times due to the character she is based on.
  • Name story:
    I looked so long for a Patti that by the time one finally came to me, I couldn't think of her as anything but "Patti"! The "Ann" part of her name is my homage to a favorite book from my childhood, a Tell-a-Tale book called "The Big Bark" in which a little girl named Ann is afraid to walk to school because of a "big bark" she hears along the way. (Eventually, she learns that the "big bark" is from a tiny dog who is friendly.)
