1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

1/3 Telesthesia Dolls

Mar 3, 2016

    1. I don't have the 74-75cm body but I do have the 68cm body vs the 62cm DZ. And just between those 2 you can see there's quite the size differenze!

    2. @manabusama thanks for the reference! that size difference isn't actually to dramatic to me, my characters are supposed to be 5'3 and 6'6 so in real life it would be a pretty massive height difference but i worry in doll scale it would look to bizarre

    3. I've never had a doll in the 74-75cm range. I do plan to get one eventually, but that will be a Grand Senior Delf Mars. I just thought that since you mentioned the 68cm body, at least I have that and can show the difference between it and a 62cm body. To me at least it is a bit big in difference, but that's just me not being used to anything larger than 70cm XD

But I too am just as curious as you what a 62cm body will look next to a 74-75cm body! Hope somebody have som images to show :)

    4. Not A telesthesia body….but I have a 65cm switch body and a 75cm Soom body for comparison , I can get a photo for you when I get off work.

    5. Oh, chipping in, I'd love to see the size comparison of these two bodies!

    6. That would be great, thanks :)

    8. @Becca8249

I like that size difference a lot :) That's definitely a giant in comparison to the 68cm body and the 62cm body I got XD

There's many character opportunities here with the size difference. Older brother, younger brother. A giant, a human species of much smaller size. The smaller one could also be a non-human character. Or the larger a big demon king!

Can't wait to the day I get to see what it's like for myself, to have a doll of that big size :whee:

    9. I love having big size differences in my collection. Its like you say,it opens up a lot of different character options.! I have 4 big guys over 70cm and I LOVE that size the best.

    10. When Luts itroduced their GSDF I were for some time a bit scared of the size, I weren't sure I could get used to them. I still don't own any 75cm doll, but images alone have made them start to grow on me :)

I had to have a look at some of the T&D 75cm sculpts, and Chen Yu he'd fit perfect into any character inspired by Mo Dao Zu Shi :D

    11. that is insanely helpful thank you so much, the height difference is massive but the proportions don't look to bad and i have seen actual human adults with just as big height gaps before so it's not completely unrealistic!
my short boy is a lil demon anyway so it doesn't need to be super realistic i guess:whee:

    12. I love Chen Yu…had my eye on him for a little while, but T&D just released the new guy poet Hai Gu. And now I really want him ...(

    13. . No problem! I personally love having so many different sizes in my collection. I think as long as the dolls are still 1/3 scale they work together, and give you lots of character options

    14. Hai Gu is pretty cool too :) I know just how hard this doll hobby can be, it's like being in a candy store  I tend to fall for dolls that got ancient Chinese style, so when I see Chen Yu my mind goes, "Lan Zhan"

    15. Thank you! The height difference is really helpful to see!
I was able to handle one IRL fairly recently at a local meetup, but I was blown away with the posing abilities of the Telesthesia bodies. I need so many for my MXTX dolls.

    16. After months of thinking if I should send out my Xiao Bei-21 to a faceup artist, I decided to do his faceup myself so I could practice. I realized too late that my emergency dollie eyelashes were unusable, so he doesn't have any attached at the moment.
