    1. Wow. It's almost like the Nanuri was made to be a girl. XD Fits the Delf girl body perfectly. XD Sucks for Erekor!

      Thanks for the comparison photos with the Obitsu, fenris. Where the headcap and head both originally the color of the headcap? It looks like the bit of yellowing actually made it almost the perfect shade for the Nanuri '08 head. ^^

      I don't suppose anyone has one of the Dreamingdoll bodies from Crobidoll to try the head on? I know the resin match would be crap, but would it look proportionate?

    2. i think that they were closer in color...if i recall rightly, the headcap was always a little lighter...i'll post more comparison pics in the next week or two as i'm ordering another ws obitsu for an upcoming project, that way you can see the comparison with fresh out of the box coloring. :)

    3. Does anyone in this thread have a NS B&G boy body and this head NS (or anything of similar resin color,) and could take pics of the resin comparison for me please? I'm considering a B&G body for him...its just a teeny bit slimmer...but right now he's sitting on a luts body and i'm getting used to the odd proportions...but i cant afford a Luts body. So help! Please!!

    5. Mine is currently sitting on a luts body...and im getting used to the weird proportions...but i cant really afford ANOTHER luts body. so im looking towards a little less pricey but equally nice bodies. :D

    6. Okay, mine has arrived and...oh yes, he is tiny. XD
      It's the smallness of the face that seals it--the eyes are placed lower in the face than on the Luts NaNuRi 07...so while that head looks fine on the Type 3 to me, this one? Pinheaded. X3 Pics to follow later. With clothes he would probably look okay, but...now I'm seriously considering modded girl bodes for him....
      Mine is definitely a him, though. *heh*
      The head is actually pretty close in size to the FeePle Nanuri 07--that one is a tiny bit bigger, but not much, and the distance between the eyes and mouth is pretty much the same...so if anyone is up to chancing the resin from Nobility, you could always go for a Lie body. XD

      Oh, and I tried both 16mm and 14mm acrylics in him, and while the 14mm work, they are definitely a little bit small so I prefer the 16mm.

    7. I don't think B&G would work as a resin match. I considered that (I can't afford a Luts body either XD), but B&G resin is said to match the Real Skin from Luts, not the regular Normal Skin resin. It would be a LOT paler than the Nanuri's resin.

      Edit: I also ran into that problem with the Dreamingdoll body from the Crobidoll website; the body's resin is made to match their dolls, which matches Real Skin and thus... too light. XP


      *nods* 16mm definitely. Let us know how the operation goes if you modify a girl body for him!

    9. Yep. They're itty-bitty little heads... That was pretty much what sealed mine's fate once and for all as being a girl. There's no way that head's going to look right on a boy body. It's even smaller than my poor Vampire Lu Wen, who held the former record for pin-headedness! :lol:

      Luckily, she works perfect well as a girl... If I'd been getting this head with the idea of making it a male, I'd be pretty grumped about the size. It's going to be a challenge to find a male bod from any company that fits. o_O

    10. Is there really a difference...i thought Luts Real skin was similar to Feeple's NS because the real skin is the new ns from luts...i figured they would be similar?

      Yeah im pretty bummed because he LOOKS like a boy. i dont know if i could make em look girly. :/

      There is quite a difference between FL Normal skin and Real skin, which is a lot lighter. I don't have my sdf camilla handy at the moment, but I'll be returning home soon so I will be able to post a comparison pic. I was planning on putting my Nanuri on the SDF body anyway and then blushing it to match.

XD...I was rather expecting it, though, as I have last year's head, which was also teensy, and I had to go hunting for a body for that one as well...scary thing being that I actually attempted to use that head on the FeePle body at first until it drove me insane with its pinheadedness. XD; The heads actually do look perfect size-wise on the Nobility Lie body, but I've already played resin roulette with them once and don't feel like trying again--I didn't care about resin match when I bought Raym's body as he will always be dressed neck to wrists to boots, so it didn't really matter...but I wouldn't want such a bad match for Schenectady.
      So yeah...I'm going to be looking for a thin, short, non-hippy girl body to mod for him, methinks....

      The 'Real Skin' dolls from Luts are in no way connected to CP/Fairyland, so the resins are not the same at all.
      The only dolls CP makes with Luts anymore are the 60cm Delf, which is why they come in the old NS/WS and everything else comes in Real Skin.

      Okay. So if you take a peek in the Parts section and look at the bodies, at the bottom of the 1/3 boy body section they have comparison photos. From what I can tell, the WS actually looks pretty freaking close. So if you have a WS Nanu, I take back what I said. XD B&G will work if the resin is like that image.


      They really are. XD They want our money, it would seem. I would love to be able to say "I hate him!" and sell him so I don't have another floating head (or another body to buy!), but... I just can't!

    17. Actually, I was skimming resin match threads and it turns out that Fdoll is a good match for Luts. I had totally forgotten I had looked into that. ^^ Onnawufei has a Woosoo on an Fdoll body that looks great. She makes mention in this thread that her Woosoo looks a little bobbleheaded, so I was wondering if maybe the smaller Nanuri '08 might match proportionately and if the newer CP resin still matches the Fdoll bodies.

      Edit: Someone also mentioned Nanuri '07 looking better on it, because of his smaller head size. This might be my winner! And because it's not as expensive as the CP or even the Dollzone body, I might be able to buy Erekor a body by next spring and keep him from being a floating head forever! XD The only stipulation is that CPs resin seems to be a bit pinker now than the older dolls.

    20. Thanks! <3 Actually his body will be on the way soon. But will have some "surgery" when it gets here, cause i have to refine the mods that had already been done to it. It's a modified Luts girl body...so it should be interesting. He will be a thin and lanky boy....Maybe he's a track runner. XD
