Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023.     1. Aw~ He's adorable AnitaS!!!

      If anyone was wondering on the DK Tan comparisons...it seems that it will definitely take longer than a normal skin comparison. They can't even begin to compare because they hardly ever have any DK / 5star items in tan stalked at the same time at MoC. :/ oh well. My quest goes on.

    2. I think tans are generally hard to match, regardless. I can tell you for sure that the 5Star tan does NOT match Bobobie/Resinsoul tans (neither old nor the newer castings, which are lighter) and does not match Planetdoll tan, which is rather dark. The 5Star tan is also dark, but with an orange cast (compared to the warmer cast of the PD tan). I don't have an AOD doll but just from what I've seen photo wise, 5Star tan may be closer to AoD tan, if anything.

    4. The promised picture for the resin comparison between Dikadoll Normal Pink Jointed Hands and 5stardoll normal.

      I've attached resin comparison picture of 5Star Normal VS Dika Normal Pink. You can see that DK is pinker then 5Star in the photo. I didn't take a picture of 5Star Normal VS Dika Normal Yellow because they are dramatically different, not even remotely the same.
      5Star has told us that they plan on changing their resin, I don't know how different it will look compared to the resin of the dolls that we have in stock now.

      So apparently they are changing their resin too!!!:o

    6. I asked if the Dikadoll 1/4 jointed hands would fit alright on a 5stardoll.

      MintonCard:
      The ball-joint on the DK hand is too wide for the wrist socket on the 5Star body. It's possible that with some sanding you could fit it in ok though, I think the ball-joint is thick enough to handle some sanding.

    7. Warning: If you type in the additional request box at 5stardoll it is apparently not enough for them to get your order correct, as I am currently experiencing problems with this.

      I think maybe posting on the Q&A board and sending them an email about it in addition would help. Apparently they don't keep those records very well.

    9. Yes... also, it seems that most of the dolls are coming strung pretty tight as well. They stand fantastically but sometimes legs snap back into place >___<

      Plus, I can say with certainty the the default faceups are absolutely gorgeous~ (atleast for the ns Allen -___-)

      Thanks a lot Pinkeed! That helps in regards to ordering some for my boy when the right one finally gets here.

    10. Another warning: The additional request box at 5stardoll website may NOT be working at all. The reason being that I know I typed in my request for wigs and eyes, but 5stardoll insists that they have no record of it.:vein

    13. They had one before, it was just directly beneath the bust instead of mid-torso.

      I really like the look of this new body though. Much more mature and refined-looking, though I'm not huge on how the breasts look.

    17. Well, I don't really have the old one to compare to, but I think I prefer the chest joint is now as to where it was before I just think it looks better.

      She's pretty tightly strung so it's hard to tell, but the waist just turns not that bendable. The chest joint bends pretty well though and if she was a bit looser I think she'd be pretty easy to position.

    18. Hey guys, I'm just dropping in to ask a quick question. I'm thinking about ordering Chu for a character I have in mind and I was just wondering if anyone here has her? She looks like such a gorgious mold and I would really like to see some owner pics.

    19. @Elruesta: No one on here owns Chu yet and no one is currently ordering her either. I've been in the waiting room for the past couple months so yeah...

      I have the new body though (see earlier post). I don't know if that helps, but if you can picture her with Chu's head instead maybe you can get an idea.
