Well, I have been sewing for a long time, and all it takes is practice practice practice...pick up a needle and some thread and start with the basics and it will all come back to you pretty quickly and having a good machine will make it better as well. I traded in my two crappy singer sewing machines for a new machine and it's been so much easier now that I am not fighting my machine. My hands get tired and cramp up on me once in a while so I like to save them the pain. But keeping them fit and able to do the handwork for finishing is good to.
Yeah! I've done small projects here and there that only require handwork, But I haven't used a machine since I was about 14 or so, and I'm 21 now. However, recently there was a sign around that was advertising sewing classes... maybe I can look into something like that? Eh... maybe I can get my parents to pay for it. xD
Does anyone know how long it usually takes for shipments to come in, or if 5SD is timely with their order statuses/email updates? I understand that they're having their sale now and it's almost over so they might be busier, but I'd like to have some sort of approx. time frame to keep in mind... > w <
She is just beautiful, and her wig...that blonde/white...I have yet to find where I can buy one...did it come with her when you bought her? or did you find it at a specific place or website? I would love to know. Have you made anything for her yet?

It's amazing how different two dolls within the same sculpt can look. I got a Ji on Monday and she is all attitude. I'll try to get some pics up of her soon but she doesn't yet have her final wig or eyes. My other doll stole the long curly pink wig she came with. What size eyes work best with Ji's?
I was fangirling over the site's pictures of Daniel, and I noticed that the cardboard box is for a Blythe doll... and it's sad about Allen being discontinued! My friend has a tan Allen, this news will hurt his ego ^^'
I ordered my dolls on the 9th. This is my first time ordering from 5SD so I don't really know how long it will take, especially with the summer event going on.
