I wish our Claires at our local mall had anything remotely useable for shoes..they don't even carry mini flip-flops on keychains..so I am going to experiment with leather and ribbons until I get a pattern that works...don't worry will post when done. These were a pair of soft mocasine style boots that I created a pattern for my book, they were really easily made.

Thanks Pinkeed! I had found one on the 5Star site too, I think, but I guess she's not that popular of a sculpt. I'd really like to see her in the non-environmental resin, but I guess that's just a wish right now XD And I would've liked them to do something for Halloween, but maybe it's just too close to their last event and releases right now? :/
Hello, thread! My first doll is the Elva sculpt from 5StarDoll in Normal translucent skin. She wears a 6/7 wig, its pretty snug, but it stays on by itself very well. Here's a pic from the MintOnCard Owner Gallery. Has anyone found a brand who's resin that somewhat matches this? I know its hard because of the UV resin and the translucent part makes it impossible, but anything close?... I also wish I could find more heads for sale from 5stardoll! XO
Hi knightjeran! Congrats on you doll. She's very pretty. I'm sorry I can't help you find resin matches because I bought mine before they switched to uv. This is off topic but is you user name a neopets referance by any chance?
Felicity, you're the first person who's gotten it that didn't know me personally. I haven't been on Neopets since the Battle for Meridell plot ended, but I had an intense love for Jeran and knights and chivalry, and the name stuck ever since! I wish more companies used UV resin, I think its absolutely dazzling how it glows... plus I'd have more variety of heads and hands.
Is anyone else having trouble with the 5Star site today? I keep getting an error about the page either timing out or not being able to connect to the database :/
I tried using a different computer, but both with Firefox. Seems to work okay on Chrome though! Weird I normally don't have troubles with it and Firefox. Thanks Right now I'm kind of torn between getting a gray Lydia on the B type body and an MNF Karsh. The price makes Lydia so very tempting to get first though! Do those of you with B-body girls have any trouble getting them to fit into clothes made for other slim minis like MNF, Narae and Unoa? I know the measurements are really close to MNF, but having doll and clothes in hand is different than straight up numbers
I received my first 5StarDoll last week, a tanned Emma. She's so pretty, I just love her. She came with a purple wig, which I'm not too crazy about, so I'm off to order her some stuff to make her perfect. I also need to do her faceup this weekend. I'll be sure to post pics when she's all ready.
@Pinkeed: Thanks! The face-up is going slowly; I'm such a perfectionist I keep taking it off when I don't like something. But hopefully it will be done this weekend. I have a quick question regarding Leekeworld wigs..I know Emma usually takes a 6/7 wig, but there's a 6/6.5 wig on Leekeworld. Would that fit, or be a bit too snug?

She should be here in a few days, since I bought her from DDE in-stock. Despite this short wait, I'm still impatient. xDDD
Hi! I have a 5star Emma and Allen coming. Ashame they discontinued Allen but I think he's beautiful and adorable. However I saw that mighella asked about the 5star Lydia. Does anyone else notice how she looked exactly like Allen? I mean to me it looks as if they have the exact same head and face-up, except Lydia's lips are glossy and she has pink eyeshadow. I don't know maybe it's just me...but it struck me as being rather interesting.
My Emma was in-stock from DDE, too. It took about five days for her to be delivered, but I totally understand the impatience, even though it was less than a week! I think it's different when you're waiting for the shipping date. When I ordered my second doll, it took almost five months for DDE to let me know they were shipping her out. It was easier to count down the weeks, but once I knew she was on her way, every day seemed to drag on forever! I felt the same impatience when I got the email stating Emma had been shipped, even though I had just bought her!
