Has anyone ever seen any resin matching posts showing 5Star's resin with other companies? I am wondering how they match up with Iplehouse's resin? I am blown away by the engineering and posability of the 5Star 1/4 body as shown in these pictures that Doll*Fan sent me: Flickr Album

Tong Tong is just sooo adorable, and I'm debating whether to get Yoka or not! The style's so diff. from others I've seen, but I like it very much~ Anyone planning on getting one of them...?
I'm debating between Sha Sha or Yoka myself but I am not sure yet. I still rather like Emily too. I know my next doll is going to be an MSD, it's just deciding which one and I've been procrastinating on it for a few months now and still haven't decided! little_rika, do you have pictures of your 5SD Emma anywhere?

It's all about personal preference, so I can't say which you should get, they both have such nice faces! I much like Sha sha's eye-shape, reminds me of a DZ Tin-Tan but more matured. As for Yoka, I'm looking over whether or not she could work on Reika's old vers. body for diff. face expression~
Ah, your Emma is so cute. She's very delicate looking! That's the same reason I like Sha Sha too. The eye shape draws me. I like that slightly lowered look she has going on. I'm thinking of waiting until they release their clothing line as well. It'd be kind of nice to get everything from the one place. I like Yoka's outfit but not too keen on Sha Sha's and Emily's outfit is quite different too. I love that you can choose to make a fullset doll from the choices they give you.

I really wish they would do the separate clothes, or maybe customer's can request for 'doll name's fullset clothes'..? Grahhh, I can't wait to see what their updated 1/3 line looks like! little_rika, I emailed them recently and they said they are planning to sell separate clothing but it would be maybe a month or two before it's released. I'd be stoked if they do because their clothing designs are quite nice and different from a lot of the stuff out there. Ariss, I don't have one yet so can't answer your question either. Hopefully someone will see your question and answer. If they are as slim as RS dolls and 5SD are making clothing for them, at least that will be another option for RS doll owners in terms of clothing. I have heard the RS bodies are quite slim. I actually found out about the company through a friend of mine who had been looking at one of their dolls a few weeks ago. I love the diversity in choices when it comes to BJDs.
I have an RS Fei and she's quite slim. Hardly any MSD clothes fit her. That's why when I saw the 5Star nude body I immediately thought of RS bodies.
Checking the measurements (here and here), the 5stars definitely larger in every dimension, though some of them are pretty close.
grahh, I just love how 5Star sticks to their own kind of style instead of trying to 'copy' the other companies~ the more I look at them, the more I want to have them! The newer clothes won't fit the older 5SD body cause the size is too small, though. awh! DX makes me sad cause I REALLY want Yoka's dress for Reika...hrm.. Ariss: I think it would depend just a bit on whether you get the 'younger' 1/4 BBB body vs. the 3-part torso 'Bobie' body: http://www.bobobie.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=96 the figures are a bit closer, with the BBB Bobie body having slightly larger chest, shorter legs, and slightly 'broader' shoulders. Either way, I think the clothes of 5SD could fit BBB quite closely? as Foxdragon said~ shirahime: ooh, sooo looking forward to that!
