Hi everyone! I just ordered my first 5SDs yesterday. The Summer Event was too good to pass up (that's my story & I'm sticking to it!). I've met a couple of 5SDs & am really looking forward to getting to know my girl. Does anyone have a Lura? I skimmed most of the thread but only saw a couple mentions of her. I'm finding it very hard to get any info about her . . . Like what wig size works best & what different size eyes look like . . . If anyone can help I'll be your new best friend. *ggl* Either way, I'm setting up camp to lurk & learn until I get my girl.
Congrats on your purchase! As far as wig sizes go, 6/7 is best. Personally I like 12mm size eyes, but they take any size from 12-16mm. And I also believe 16mm is what's sent with the dolls.
Thx Neela! I'm glad she'll take a 6/7 wig, I have a few of those she can use if I can't find the perfect one before she gets here.
I love my Lura. She has the tiniest little elf ears, which I didn't know until she arrived. 6/7 is definitly the wig size for her. My other 5star minis can wear 7/8's but they're just too loose on her.
Thanks for the info. The first time I saw Lura I liked her, but once I heard she had elf ears I started putting together my Event order. I would've liked to order direct, but didn't see her on the 5SD web site so went over to DDE. I'd love to see pix of your girl!
They're so pretty! I love Lily's wig. You wouldn't happen to have any pix that show Rosemary's ears? I still haven't seen Lura's ears at all . . .

We're going to Geek Girl Con in Seattle, I don't know if there's going to be much doll stuff happening there but once I tried this wig-eye combo on Jack I knew he had to have a costume.
I succumbed, and ordered a Ji... And after her I'll order a Ryan... This BJD thing gets out of control VERY fast, doesn't it...?
It really does! My first arrived last July & now look at my sig-line! *lol* I won't go into how many dolls I've bought & then re-homed during the past year either . . .
hi there I see a few familar faces. Question I'm guessing this is the mini discussion? or is there another thread? Anyway I don't see the head sizes on the site, can anyone let me know the circumference of the MSD heads? And better yet if someone has a comparison of a MSD head with a 5stardoll Quinten head that would be awesome as well. Thanks!
