5StarDoll Minis discussion part 1

Well it took me awhile to pay of my layaway but my 5stardoll Ji and Chu are on there way, yeah I will post pics here when they arrive, I can't wait

 

Well here is Chu, my Jane, she is so cute. I am interested in buying her brown eyes and a brown wig but for now she has red eyes and a black wig.

 

And here is a picture of Ji, My Rose, I love the green eyes and the blond wig I owned already looks great on her. This was the outfit I purchased from 5stardoll, more pictures in my Flickr

Here's a picture of my (translucent resin) Elva, named Layla. This is the last picture I took of her before giving her to a face up artist! I can't wait to see her new face.



I almost want to get another 5Star because their girls have such lovely faces.

Is Ryan still available? Many dealers say he is discontinued, but he is still listed on the 5StarDolls site. I am confused. I want to get him at some point (he's near perfect for one of my characters), but wasn't planning to until next year.

 

I've changed my girl's eyes, now she wears 12mm safrin eyes, and it's look better :

 

Elly what a great picture! I like the look of the smaller eye for sure. I always go atnleast one size smaller for my dolls than the company does.

 

Hello everyone I'm newish around here. I'm planning on buying Emma. I just love her face sculpt. I can't find out what size wig she takes. If someone could be help me that would be awesome. Thanks.

 

I have a 7/8 on mine.

 

I had her in a 7 inch wig. She also fits D size Leeke wigs which are 6-7. She's one of the newer sculpts from 5star so she has a smaller noggin than Emily or Ji. I've put her in several different 7 inch wigs from various companies and they've always fit. I've tried a 7/8 on 5stardoll heads other than Emma and they tend to be too big and slip around. However this can easily be solved by using tape on the headcap.

 

Thank you so much for the info. I have a 6/7 that I had for a previous MSD that I had. I'm hoping it will fit her as I love the look of it.

Layla, my Elva, just got back from her new face up! I'm super happy! She just needs some eyelashes and she'll be good to go!


edit: now with lashes and a wig and a body!

Hello! Nice to meet everybody.
I planned to buy my new YOSD/MSD body from 5stardoll for my Bluefairy head.
Can anyone help me compare the color. (I already see white skin from 5stardoll compare with normal skin from Bluefairy. It is nice but Bluefairy is a bit more yellow so I wonder if the yellow skin of 5stardoll is nicer or not)
And how is the pose-ability of the body?

I like my 5star for pose-ability. Compared to my DollZone and Doll Leaves girls my 5 star is most capable (all unsueded)
