5StarDoll Minis discussion part 1

Oh, hehe, I guess I didn't realize that was there. :P

 

I just recieved an Emily yesterday. I'm really happy with their posing, but I wish they had more foot movement.

 

Just curious...how do need/want the feet to move?

 

I wanted to be able to point and flex the feet but I can probably just sand down the ankle in the back.

 

No sweat, hardly anyone seems to notice the wiki links! It's a shame, wiki resources are awesome.

I wish they would relaunch their bigger dolls. I seem to be fated to always prefer mini sculpts, when I massively prefer 1/3 or tiny size!

 

Felicity I had the same thought when I got her. I'd wanted to point her toes...but I'm still really happy with her.

 

I could see how that would pose a problem for certain poses.

Anyone know if the Honigdoll clothes fit the 1/4s?

Anyone know if resin matches between Dikadoll and 5stardoll?

I'm thinking about buying a pair of jointed hands, but I wasn't sure how close the match was.

I am seriously thinking about ordering one of the Minis - maybe Ji, in white skin (trying something new). Does anyone have pics of a white skin they can post? Do you see any problems with yellowing? I wavering back and forth between WS and NS. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

 

@IceCrystals12: I asked 5stardoll if they plan on making jointed hands and they said that they plan to make them after they release the super sized dolls.

 

*claps hands with joy* They didn't indicate how long that would be, did they?

 

I bought Lura in white skin and haven't any yellowing yet.

Did you ask if they were doing hands for their MSDs or just their SDs? It'd be sad if they only did SD sized jointed hands :/

 

@autumnrain: To the jointed hands no. But they plan to release the super-sized dolls this year.

@Icecrystals12: Sadly, I did ask that question yesterday and got an answer today. They only plan on doing super size at this time.
So Dikadoll is still the only place making 1/4 jointed hands, which means looking further into a resin match (sigh).
