Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.       The summer event seems cool, but I'm not sure if I want another 5SD, not that I don't love them, just I am looking at other companies as well( newbie doll owner, I want them all)

      Sorry about his eyelash. That was the first thing that happened when I got my Edmund; his eyelashes fell off!

      I noticed that MOC has officially severed it's business relationship with 5Star. Wow! That's too bad. I wonder what happened?

    9. Finally got around to making something for Vander to wear. He's no longer completely naked. Need to make some jeans for him...maybe some nice ripped/worn ones. I thought a red ringer tee (James' pattern) would go well with the punky checkered chucks he came with and be a good first doll garment for me. It's alot like sewing gloves, all those tiny parts.

      Going to go get some stretch denim to make him some pants tonight after work. I haven't had him out of the box much since his nakedness kind freaks out the boyfriend lol.

      I'd really like to digitize and let you guys have any patterns I make for the boy SD body once I get the hang of fitting garmets to something so very small :) I don't plan on selling them or anything so I may as well share! I don't have much time (obviously JUST getting around to making him a basic shirt..) but yeah... There's like, nothing out there for 5stardolls though apparently patterns that fit Iplehouse do well for these guys with a little work? I really have no idea so I may as well start from scratch? XD

      I have DollHeart SD13 clothes on my 5Star 1/3 Edmund, and they fit pretty good!

    14. I recently purchased super 5Star Doll Michelle and named her "Cosette."
      She really does have a good quality resin, in my opinion. Also her face sculpt isn't half bad... that was the one reservation I had. I thought the nose would be too pointy but it's fine. Also the face-up was custom and cost no more than the default face-up. Just send 5Star Doll and message that you want it custom with an image and select the face-up option... which is so cheap!
      I still do have some regrets not spending a bit extra and getting a nicer doll (I had my eye on Impldoll Aigne for the longest time).

      By the way, I do still have my eye on that Impldoll head...
      I was wondering if anyone knows if that head would fit this 5Star Doll body? I noticed that Michelle's body measurements are .5cm larger in all regards and I'm not completely sure how much of a difference that .5cm will make.

      @Molliebean; Yayay, your boy Michelle is all put together! <3 I love it! I just knew Michelle would make a great boy. :) Mickey looks so natural, the faceup suits him well!


      @poignantperfume; How weird, I have a Michelle named Annette but I had thought about naming her Cosette! Your girl is so beautiful, Michelle's sculpt pulls off that classic French look so darn well. Good to know about their custom faceups, I hadn't even thought of ordering one before!
      I feel like .5cm will not make much of a difference - so far in my experience, that kind of difference has caused no problems for me with clothing sizes, and I've put a head that supposedly needed a 7cm neck circumference on one with 8.5cm. xD I think it's worth trying the hybrid!
