I should have ordered an Edmund head, oh well, I am sure I'll find another doll that fits the characters I have in mind.

Changing the yellow skin? I did not know that, I love the current Yellow, guess I should have gotten more hands for Corellon, hopefully I won't break any more of them...

 

My new Michelle. She is recovering from her mishap. (see 5stardoll waiting room) Still need to fix her face up in spots. Overall I am happy with her. I didn't pose these two intentionally, I just stood her on the shelf...I didn't see that they were getting chummy until I saw the pics!

Here's Priya, my new 5Stardoll Becca! I absolutely love this girl. I'm so happy with her! It took me forever to do her faceup--- I ended up wiping my first attempt and then tinkering around and ever so slightly modding her top lip before doing the second and final faceup--- but she's all done now and I adore her. Despite me messing with it a bit, she is a gorgeous sculpt. Now I've just got to make her some clothes--- she can't share with my other girl, since their proportions are too different (not to mention their styles!)

 

Priya looks lovely. Their girls are always so much better in owner pics then on their site. Has to be the face-ups. You did a lovely job.

 

Oh my goodness! Priya looks fabulous!!!! I love what you did with her make up and her lip! She is much prettier now! I love my Becca but her lip always bugged me. Priya is perfect!

Aw, thanks! I really love her. =) I think she has such a pretty face but once I had her in person her top lip seemed just a little more... duckish than I was expecting. My first attempt at her eyebrows was a travesty, and when I wiped them, I messed up the eyes and had to take the whole thing off and start again--- and that's when I decided to be either brave or crazy and just reshape that top lip a tiny bit, while I was at it. I've never modded a doll before, but I'm so pleased that I took the plunge!

Thanks to you too, radient_blue! I agree, the Supers always look so much better in owner pics. Especially Michelle! I don't like 5Star's styling of her at all, but there are quite a few really beautiful Michelles here on DoA!

I have Aiden, Tong Tong, Quintus #1 and Quintus #2 in YOSD, and a Tumnus in the SD category.
Now I have Zora as well.
I will have to get my "Zora" some clothes, take a picture, and post it. "Zora" is a 5 Star hybrid. A 5 Star to 5 Star hybrid. She has normal pink body, flat and high heel feet, and a 5 Star "Bright" male head. (can you really call that a hybrid if it's all 5 Star parts?)
Those lips of Bright's looked like he would make a great smexy girl, so I gave him/her face up a lot of dramatic make up and a pouffy
big-hair wig.
Zora will either be a night club singer in a glittering long gown, slathered across the top of a grand piano,with a microphone n one hand,
or wearing stiletto boots, a mini skirt, a slinky tube top and a fake fur jacket, standing around on street corners!
Switching male and female heads around is no problem, since both neck posts are 9cm. (That is, until they change the bodies to something else.)

That is really cool Grouchy Gnome I haven't seen many Brights around and I'm rather excited to se a female one

I finally got my 5Star package too well, part of it, I'm still missing some heads,clothes, hands and a body, but I did get the new male body for Corellon and I'm pretty happy with it, it does have a few issues though. the bad first, it can't sit properly, I mean with the legs in a 90° position like when sitting on a chair, I tried to fix this by putting in soem extra tracks for the elastic, you can see them on the picture, but it didn't work that well, he'll need more heavy modding which I don't feel I have the skills to do. Secondly they have added veins to the arms, I'm not a big fan of this, it's particularly unfitting for this character, but I guess that's all about personal taste. Also the new body is taller for what that's worth. Now for the good parts, the articulation of the arms are a lot better, I was positively surprised, also the most obvious thing is the change of torso joint, it's in the waist instead of the hips which is the main reason I got the new body, I hated the old hip joint. Also the hands are a lot bigger and fits the body much better then the old ones. lastly he can actually sit cross legged which I love, though I have mixed feelings about it because it also causes the problem with sitting straight. All in all I am glad that I got the new body, it looks better and generally poses better then the old one

Hi guys! I just popped in with a quick note. Clothing has now been ordered for Zora. (She sits on the couch, starkers, glowering at me.)
I have some high heeled shoes that I'm going to try on her dainty little heeled footies. She sure has small feet compared to some of my other girls.
I have a whole outfit and shoes coming, but I may have to steal from someone else until it gets here. She refuses to have her picture taken without clothes.
At least she's not demanding haute coture. (Spelling?)
I think I'll just go away quietly.

 

Cheesedemon, the new male body is quite nice-looking! The hands look much more proportionate, too. Corellon looks good on it! His eyes are so interesting.
And thank you re: my Priya! I'm so thrilled with her The wig is a Monique Gold one. It's really soft and the price was pretty decent.

 

I'm still waiting for my package. I ordered Gabriel for the summer event, and it shows as paid, but not shipped. I'm getting antsy...
(It should also include a Dark head, for which I'll need a body - I have all but decided to go for a boy body after all, but I'm waiting until it gets here to make a final decision. I have seen girl Dark and Bright dolls that looked pretty good, too...)
