    3. The type 2 is a few cm taller than the type 1, and has longer legs, a smaller waist, and a more defined ribcage, from what I can tell in the pictures. Looks like different hands, too. I have my 5Star Becca on a type 1, and I think it's awesome. I really like the proportions of it, it feels very solid and I like her posing a lot. I notice there aren't any more pics of it on the website though and it looks like they stopped selling it by itself. Let me know if you'd like me to take a picture of the type 1 body for you!

      On the sale page of Michelle, the one i'm interested in, seems that the options to get the type one body is still there, not sure if i can get her with the type 1 body at this pint :sweat
      But would be great if you would take the time to post some piccies of the type 1 body really thank you :aheartbea
      Perhaps the type 2 body is the one shown onto the body parts section? :huh?:

    5. $abbatha--- yes, I looked and it is the type 2 that is shown in the parts section. And you're right, they do still show the type 1 option on the order page for the dolls. I'll get some pics of the type 1 body for you either tonight or tomorrow, no problem!

      Hope these help to give you an idea of the differences between the two body styles. I don't know of any threads for 5Star resin comparisons, though....

    9. Unfortunately they've changed their Resin colors. I do have dolls in all their colors, but in the last order I got their white was whiter and less creamy and their grey darker. I'm not sure if they've changed their other colors too or not.

    11. I tend to dislike yellow colors too, so I'm really happy that the NS Becca I have is very nice and pink. She's still fairly new---- from 2013's summer event sale, so I assume that is the NS color they are currently using! I still have to get a body for my NS Tumnus event head sometime.
      And the white being more white and less creamy is FANTASTIC news for me, because I have a WS body on layaway right now that I'm buying specifically for a hybrid project in which I will be dyeing it gray---- so the whiter the base color, the better my dye job is likely to come out! (I had originally ordered it in gray thru DDE, but they emailed me to tell me that 5Star said they won't do gray anymore. So I switched to white, and a dye job it is!)

    12. Regarding the dyeing: have you tried the primer color from Army Painter? These are not merely spray paints, but paint that contains sealant into it, that means that once you do the paint the trick is done, also there are available so many different shades of gray, i guess two or three.

    16. Can someone measure for me the neck girth of the male body B? I only found the neck circumference for the girl's body and not the boy's one, on the site..blehh. But I have to say, I really am in love with the aesthetics of their bodies! Are there any reviews on posability?

    17. To my knowledge, they are all 9cm necks; both males and females; unless they've changed them, as I have a doll with a male head on a female body. BOTH BODY AND HEAD ARE 5 STAR.

    18. This is what I did with my gray skin Tumnus, he borrowed an IH SID body. Faceup by me and Kilian.

      The stomach you see is Apoxy sculpted by me and so his his hand, I added Apoxie to a Dikadoll sd hand. His chest is goat suede. The fur is from different coats at least 30 years old. Kilian is my leather guy but he paints too.
