5stardoll Supers

Thanks, he was an experiment that came out surprisingly wonderful. He is the beast and yet not. He has a proper name now, it''s Reed.

I started a photo sharing thread here I wanted to show off more of him but see other 5Starsdolls too.

 

Got another 5Stardoll head. I now have Dark. Whatever shall I do with him? Another wild experiment of course!

His name is Thaddeus Post. I got him today but I've wanted him ever since I saw his face, when looking for Tumnus photos.
Lucky me!!!!!

His skin color is very yellow so he will be part owner of Song's AOD NY 60cm body. I thought he might use Julian's body but it is too pale and slightly pink.

 

I can't wait to see what you do with him! I have Bright who is still waiting for a face...and a body.

 

I think he will be dark and dangerous. No smirks on this guy.
Bright is lovely, a very nice doll(head) to have waiting in the wings. Lovely lips too.

 

The 5Star Supers thread lives! Was actually a shock to see new posts here. As for me and my 5Stardolls---- I'm working on a pretty big/elaborate tattoo project on Priya (my Becca) and Tumnus still doesn't have a body, although I know exactly what I want to do with him when I get him one. Poor guy's body has been knocked off the top of the "next purchase" list twice now by limited dolls. =(
I think I'm going to get him an AoD body, actually, because I see 5Star updated their Super boy body AGAIN. The first update-- I LOVED. I was really excited to get that one for Tumnus. This new one? Not so much. Just something about the line and proportions of it are not what I want for him.

 

Oh please post photos of your 5Star dolls here in the 5Stardoll photo share. I want to see them.
As you can see, my Tumnus is a huge beast and not a thin loveable faun at all, he can barely fit into an IH EID shirt. Though he is a tender gentle guy at heart. Unfortunately his father was an incubus, so he was treated poorly by his family. He lives with us now and is quite happy.
Dark on the other hand might be more like the incubus or even darker in nature, we shall see.

So I ordered my first doll 5stardoll Becca from DDE, because she literally had my name on it! It was between her and 5stardoll Michelle, but I chose Becca because she looked more mature. However, I'm worried now that her eye openings are too small and won't allow for too much expression. What do you guy think? Does anyone have a 5stardoll Becca that they can reassure me about?

Changing the size and color of eyes can make a big difference in a doll's expressiveness, by the way -- you can ask in the discussion thread if anyone has pictures of different-sized eyes in their 5stardoll, and get an idea of what you might like best. I see that the 5stardoll website suggests 16mm eyes for Becca, but even without seeing her in person, I would be inclined to try 14mm eyes instead. (Doll companies often suggest a size bigger than I prefer.) Becca has a mature face, and adults have smaller eyes relative to the rest of their faces than children do.

I ordered Becca on August 28th through Denvor Doll Emporium - they said it would take 14 weeks to process (is that normal?!!) She's my first doll! ^.^
Anyway, she has normal skin, no face up. I got this wig for her, except its lighter blond with whitish blonde tips.

My last order took 5 months so 14 weeks sounds good to me! I know it seems like a long wait but for me it was totally worth it. I got a tan skin Aphrodite so I don't know about your eyes, but she's really pretty!

 

Oh well that's good. I'm prepared to wait quite a bit because I'm honing the face-up skills.
There's a picture compilation of 5starBecca. I feel like the most important thing about her face up is that it pulls her eyes together. I think I will need to get smaller eyes for her so that she looks even more mature.

 

I just saw photos of Reed and Aphrodite Alice on the photo thread.
I don't know what it is about Reed he is a bit alarming but you just want to hug him!
Alice is beautiful! Love her eyes!

Atfexdoll I think you will like Becca, she's quite versatile. I think I have 16mm in Lily.

 

Thank you Molliebean, he is a loveable beast. That sweet Tumnus face just won't let him look too mean, no matter what kind of faceup you give him.

 

Thanks Molliebean ! I can't wait to get her. I read some of this thread, and I was wondering what she looked like before they redid her faceup for the sight! :P I heard it was awful ! Q.Q

That is....something...special Molliebean... LOLYeah when I first started to read about her faceup I was thinking of the new one and I was like "What's wrong with it I love it...."
But that is... I understand now.

 

Ohhhh, 5stardoll just released jointed hands for the supers!!!

 

I'm thinking about selling my Tumnus head. I got him with my Edmund because I wasn't sure which head would look better as a serious suit-wearing business man. But I think Edmund really fits better, he looks so stern.

I've never sold a head before though D:
