Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. My husband won't enable me D: We're trying to keep my dolls to characters from my book, so I don't get too many/spend too much.

      Of course, he doesn't know that one of my characters is planned as a Spiritdoll Gardenia (85cm) hehe :sweat

      Also my Edmund face-planted at the beach onto some rocks, and I had to sand down the bumps on his forehead, but I've noticed where I've sanded is yellowing SUPER FAST, so I have to keep him in his box until I find some UV protect spray. :...(

    4. I love Eric's look, his head is really nice, those ears are so cute. Kevin is cute too and I liked his mask, he's a superhero or something? But it is a nice mask.
      Don't think I see a another 5Star in my near future but it is a really good event.

    5. Haven't been on the 5SD website lately, so I popped in and saw so many new dolls!! And they got new bodies too! This is exciting. But it's sad seeing their Tumnus sculpt removed from their website. But now it feels like I have a secret doll. <w< Haha.

      I wonder, with the new bodies, is the resin quality better than the old ones?

    8. I didn't know anything about the quality of 5 Star Dolls, but I fell in love with the Tumnus sculpt. I took advantage of one of their events and got Tumnus doll plus the Edmund head. Also got a Rex (1/6) as part the event. I love my boys, especially Tumnus, and want to get an SD girl. I'm drawn to Becca. What is your opinion of Becca vs Michelle?

    10. All right, so I have a question about the posing ability of the 62 cm girl body. I can't find any images of the girl's knee bending or really any pictures of the body doing anything special. Does anyone have any pictures/a link/a description/something, please?

    14. Well Thaddeus (Dark) has a body now and he is dangerous, wicked and wild. His faceup came out well but I think I need to tone down the red in the lips if he is going to hang on to that wig. His middle eye will be changing from the dark brown one that is there now.
      He got a Doll Chateau Dolores body and he has taken to it like it was meant just for him. I will be painting the collar embossing copper with the green patina, should go well with his eyes and the blushing I used around his third eye.

    19. Hi Reslie, Right now he is being a brat, DC's are kicky so I will need to suede his shoulders, elbows, hips and possibly his knees. That said he can strike a pose very well. He stands well on his own which surprised me.
      He has one leg longer than the other, about 3mm, and I'm not sure how I'm going to handle it. I'll see when I suede his hips if I can make adjustments there.
      I finished painting his embossing and will post a pix when I get him back together.

    20. I like the way they pose. They all stood right out of the box and they held basic poses. But the slouchy, bendy poses need some work. I haven't tweaked any of them so sueding would probably help. They're strung a little tight but I like it..lol.
