Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.       Is name is Micheil and is a traveler that is my RS Dai's best-friend. He has comes to the glen with his group for festivals since he was born and for as long as he remembers Eva (my Dai) was his best-friend. He loves laughing and "playing" but is a hard worker and a ferocious protector of his family. The travels have taught him how to read people and know who is trying to be deceitful. He was an orphan and was adopted into his family when he was just a baby.

      Has anyone else bought the new bodies? I really like it!!

    12. I need to buy some s hooks for the jointed hands.. Not sure where to get them or how to know they are the right size.. But the jointed hands are the same size.. I got the extra head and am needing a body for it.. Just not sure which to get.. Dolly woes... Lol

I was on a doll hunt as the sculpt that was perfect for a character was discontinued just a few months ago and my chances of finding it on the MP in the colour I want are small since he's a rather unpopular sculpt. I had seen 5Star dolls before (Tummus is lovely) and when I saw the Dark sculpt, that combined in my head with an event arm from FL and I'm loving pretty hard on the idea now. On the 5Star site in the Q&A section, there's mention of them offering a custom matching service (the post is dated Jan. 28/15). Does anybody know anything about this?

      I've read through all 32 pages in this thread and the one thing that seems consistent is the inconsistent colour of their resin *chuckles*. With any mix and match of resin bits, I know results can vary widely from bang on perfect matches to WTF?! I also understand that doing something like I would with just the one arm could look weird/off because of proportions (I have a 68cm DZ boy with an RD 70cm mecha arm). And I even get that there might be some modding required to get the FL shoulder joint to play nice with the 5Star socket. But this idea doesn't want to leave me alone *sigh*. It's certainly not being helped by the fact that the 5Star dolls are so easy on the wallet.

    20. As a long shot, does anyone have some FL 2010 normal skin to compare to the current 5Star NY? I'm not too concerned about resin matching (I have a plan) but it'd be nice to know how far off base the colours may be. I checked for resin comparisons in the photo reference section and couldn't find one with 5Star resin older than 2011. Any help/insight would be appreciated.
