Sorry so many of them are sold. It seems that as soon as they post them, they go very quickly. But, they are pretty good at restocking more dolls. They just keep finding more in the back. I've been keeping a look out for a Mia.

 

Stellarphenomena, yeah, the dolls they have up for sale are definitely older dolls. (And, I'm so here for it! )

The Anna currently up for sale on their site says in she's from 2013. They are certainly getting rid of their old back-stock.

The Todd I bought, which I pictured on the previous page, is from 2012 and white resin. I usually like normal pink resin for a doll. But, I really like how Todd's resin has mellowed into a creamy white. And, his make-up is a little dark and gothy looking, so it looks good on white skin.

Their new face-up artist, Angela, is really killin' it with those face-ups. Absolutely gorgeous!

 

YAY! Pepperonipizza, I'm so glad you got one of 5Star's latest offerings!

It does seem that as soon as she puts them up for sale...they are gone! I was so hoping someone in our little group, here in the 5Star thread, had lucked-out and gotten a couple of these little treasures.

I missed out on the two Ria(s) that were up for sale. (Ratz!!! ). But, I did snatch-up the red resin Mars. I'm so excited about him. I asked 5Star to tell Angela, their awesome face-up artist, to make him a little goth demon. It should be interesting what she does with him.

Congrats again on getting a Kathy. That is a sculpt I thought was long gone. I hope your boy ships quickly. I can't wait to see pictures of him!

 

Pepperonipizza, I'm sure once Kathy-boy arrives you'll be filled with new inspiration.

Congrats Nancy_Schroeder_ca on getting the Nancy that 5Star had posted. She has such a pretty face-up. And, I love her whole winter themed outfit.

Congrats to you too SaltedPretzel on getting two of 5Stars little beauties, Anna and Alice. Did you get face-ups for them, or are you going to do the face-ups yourself?

I'm so excited that members of this thread are getting to take advantage of the great sales at 5Star! So many wonderful old dolls are finding homes. It's so much love!

Stellarphenomena, I published this info a page or two back. But, here's the e-mail I received from 5Star:

That was the explanation 5Star gave me. It certainly sounds like they will be creating new dolls. Maybe they need to unload the old stock to get capital to reinvest in developing new dolls. It's all a mystery to me. I just hope they don't disappear again.

Congrats Nancy_Schroeder_Cat! Alice is such a sweet sculpt. Her and Nancy will look great together.
