The thread has been really quiet. I think it's time for some spam... I've been buying stands for all of my smaller dolls, because I got tired of having them fall over all the time. I'm not finished yet, but I did manage to get stands for 9 out of my 12 5SD tinies. There's another shipment coming in wth the last three stands for the girls in the back - also, a new outfit for Anemone (my Ria girl) who is wearing an old coat at the moment. She did get a cute new wig, though.
They are - and I'd so much rather spend the money on fun things like wigs or outfits... On the other hand, one of my MSDs broke her finger, one of my RPs broke an ear and I've lost parts of outfits because of my dolls being in a heap in my cabinet and stuff falling out... It's just super-annoying to have them all fall over like dominos... I also find I hate pleather. Both Caleb and Azryel have these fake-leather pants that are flaking all over the place. It drives me nuts, and I'm hoping having them on a stand will at least minimise my having to handle their outfits. Maybe they can last another year so... Edited to add a picture of Anemone's new outfit that just came in. (I don't want to repy to my own post...) (The shoes are part of the Dollheart ouftfit that Tansy is wearing - I just liked that particular outfit better with plain brown Mary Janes...)
FairyMilliner and Stellarphenomena, both of your dolls are so cute. I love their outfits! I feel bad that I haven’t been doing much with my dolls lately. I’ve been feeling so wore-out this year. I’m sure next year things will brighten up and I’ll have time to fuss over my poorly neglected dollies. That’s the great thing about dolls…they wait patiently.
@Rabbit-moon @Fairy Milliner: Thanks, the outfit Amy is wearing is from Iplehouse. I love pink and how you styled your gal! @Rabbit-moon: I totally get it. This has been a draining year for me as well. Sometimes attending to my dolls is a good distraction for me from stress, rumination and depression.
