1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

A little confused about sizes....

Nov 20, 2015

    1. Hi,
Awhile I back I ordered a Mystic Kids Evelyn. Originally my daughter and I were going to start the hobby but she lost interest.... now I really want to make this doll look awesome though.

The problem is, I'm a little confused as to what size of items I need to be buying. This page :Evelyn, 45cm Mystic Kids Girl - BJD Dolls, Accessories - Alice's Collections
lists her as a 45cm doll but most places have terms like 1/3 , 1/4, or 1/6. I want to get her a wig cap and I think I need to buy 1/4 clothing.....maybe? Can anyone help me out? Some links to items would be great and help me get a sense of the types of sizes I should be going for.

      Thanks

    2. A 45cm doll is a 1/4 scale doll. I would suggest comparing the measurements of the doll and clothing from companies if you want to buy clothes especially pants or shoes.

    3. Mystic Kids dolls are tall and slender. They can wear a lot of the same clothes that Minifees do, but their arms and legs are longer. Look for clothes for slim MSD or 1/4 size. They can wear the same shoes as a Minifee or a 14" Kish doll.

Their heads tend to be on the small side, so a 6/7 wig often looks best. While they can wear a 7/8, the amount of hair can be overwhelming.

    4. I agree with previous posters---1/4 scale clothing will fit best. I own a Mystic Kids Lillian (also 45cm) and she is slim, so she is able to wear dresses/shirts made for Minifee and Unoa (pants, however, would be too short).

I've used both 7-8" and 6-7" wigs on my MK Lillian and have to say 6-7" fits her a lot better. The 7-8" wig I used to have on her (made by Monique) was too big for her head.
