1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

    2. The typical AA doll is a little shiny from the resin components themselves, NOT any kind of coating; more shiny than MSC Matte/Flat but far less shiny than MSC Gloss. Like the 1.0 Unoa, it is both the body and the head. Spraying your doll with a coating of MSC Flat or lightly sanding with an abrasive MrCleanSponge will definately dull the look to your doll.

If your doll is bought second-hand, they may have a coating of some sort. Depending on what the coating is and how thick, you may have to sand it or completely remove it (paint thinner, acetone, alcohol etc) to restore the doll to a natural condition. If already coated, it is not recommended to just spray MSC on top in case there is a chemical reaction between the different coatings.

You can kind of see here where I have tattooed this doll's chest and sealed it with MSC. The arms are still quite a bit shinier as is the rest of her body. I ended up spraying a light coat over her entire torso so the sheen would match, but the rest of her still is distinctly different. I've had the same problem with all the AA dolls I worked on, but the owners were satisfied. It is your decision when you get your doll whether you would like to change the natural resin, or to decideif there was a coating by the previous owner that you'd like to remove.

    3. animemadness - You're welcome. ^^ That's actually Qi's default faceup. I'm not really sure why she's not shiny, since I've seen others that are. XD; The sheen is more noticeable in person, but she's still not super shiney.
      Here's a thread on cleaning solutions. ^^ http://www.denofangels.com/forums/showthread.php?t=248590
