Actual Dreams About Your Doll

The other night I had a dream that a friend gave me a mold I was not particularly fond of for my birthday and I stored it in a spare room in my house because it sort of gave me the creeps and then when I had to go clean out said room it attacked me and it was in general just a very odd dream.

 

I just ordered my first BJD yesterday and then had a nightmare about it ><

It started out as a typical nonsensical dream like I usually have. It went on for a while and several things happened, but eventually I ended up at my parents house where I was living in the dream. Even though I had just ordered the doll yesterday, it had already shipped and was delivered at the front door when I got home! I thought to myself "this must be some kind of record!" I take the box inside and immediately notice holes in the box. I panicked because things could have fallen out of the box. But I calmed myself down and opened it. I notice that things indeed were missing, and that the event head was gone as well. I freaked out! I finally get to the doll and she is absolutely destroyed. Her face up is ruined and she looks melted like she has vegetable oil all over her. I broke into tears! I wondered how after all this time wanting a doll how something so awful could happen!

Then my alarm goes off and I wake up. It took me a minute to realize that it was a dream and didn't really happen. It was a terrible way to start my day x.x

 

I forget exactly why my doll was in my dream, but she was. It was my Dollmore Model Doll Leah.

I was restringing her. It was strange, though. The string was behaving like it had so much slack that the doll would have never, ever been held together, and it was behaving like I didn't have enough string. At the same time!

Also, it had a strange string securing scheme. There was a metal hook on the end of the string where it would attach to the foot, but the foot had this very unusual loop for the hook. If you ever played with K'Nex as a kid, you might remember what the octagonal connecting piece looked like. It looked like a wheel. Well, this foot had an entire wheel like that in the foot, and you had to get the hook in the center hole while also positioning the string behind another straight plastic piece that kept the hook from popping out.

Finally, somebody had gotten to my Leah and completely messed up her body. She looked like she had paint and spackel all over her It was so bad that in my dream thoughts, I considered full body blushing to hide the paint or buying another doll

That hook scheme was a real mind-screw, though. It was so weird that I wish it knocked me lucid. I went full-on lucid for a few minutes one time when I was a kid. It was awesome.

 

I am having so much trouble finding shoes for my incoming girls (doll's company selection is just so so) that I am dreaming about shopping for doll shoes now... and ending with a huge pile of shoes that I tried but didn't quite fit even thought the nubers (measurements) said they should ><

 

I had a dream where I walked into a store and had all the dolls I could buy. All of them in my taste and wonderful. When I woke up, I had thought I bought another doll and I was so happy, until I realized....It was all a lie!!

 

I had a nightmare where I let someone hold onto my doll, I turn her around and the person was gone and my doll shattered to the ground

 

I had a dream last night that I decided to buy one minifee to add to my collection. This is not my plan,(sure, if I had a ton of money, maybe... LOL) though I don't know why I dreamed about it!!

 

I've had three dolly dreams that come to mind. The first was the night that my first doll (my beloved BBB Apollo) came. I played with him all day and then went to bed. I had a dream where he told me that he liked my house much better than his last one (he was secondhand). The second, I had a dream where I somehow chipped his nose. It was horrible, especially since his nose is what sold him to me. The last dream I remember was not too long after I got my second doll. The dolls were in the corner of my room, and I noticed that Angelo (the BBB Apollo) magically got teeth. He has this little evil sneer on... I was a little confused, and went up to ask him what the heck he was doing with teeth and then he bit me! Hahaha!

 

Have you ever had a dream with your bjd in it? How was it like? What did they do? And just a little something on my own dream-I think might have dreamt about a future doll. Though it'd be hard putting him together since I don't know exactly what he'd look like-because my memory is a bit fuzzed up-but it may be worth making him. :3

 

This should probably go to the Games section...I sometimes have dreams of my dolls as their background character. Being at a bar, and having my Huxley serve me...or watching the television or reading a newspaper in my dream about Charlie's demon hunting antics. Sometimes I dream about the type of outfits I'd like for my doll, or the different poses, maybe even a change in expression via face up.

 

gaming? didn't think of that but that's pretty cool that you would get to interact in your dream with your doll! and my god, so i'm not a crazy person who would name their doll Huxley!~ (yay! this makes me so happy to know!)

 

I had a dream last night that I woke up to a tan littlefee that someone had sent to me for free (if only...)

 

No, but then I can't remember when I've had a dream about any of my other hobbies except for listening to music.

 

I had a dream that Tobias's body came in, and I'd accidentally ordered a pink body instead of a more yellow one :I

 

I frequently dream about my dolls, or others' dolls. Once, an artist I admire was a small part of my dream. Once, I had a strange dream where I got a BBB Apollo on the MP for $100, but he was a mini instead of a SD. I already had clothing and a wig for him, too. Another time, I dreamt that I had most of the dolls I want, and quite a few of them got lost or broken in a big accident. I found a lot of them later, though.
I have strange dreams...

 

I haven't before but I bet after reading this I will....c'mon subconscious, serve it up!

 

I'm adding to this thread again because I just had a dream a night or so ago about a fantasy doll dressed in white. She was holding a glass orb and her white hair was blowing back. I woke up knowing I had to get this doll. I've spent the last two days planning her! It might be a while before I can get her, but she is definitely coming home!!

The best part is that it gives me an excuse to try out Luts new Light tan resin!!

 

Since I don't have my girl yet, I've had a lot of dreams about her just being there, tagging along. A couple years ago, I had a dream that someone had boughter her for me with the wig, eyes, clothes, and a whole mini-room of furniture and things like that. It came in the mail and when I opened the box, everything was broken and mixed up, even though the box was in perfect shape. I woke up crying, it was the worst ever. So, more like a nightmare.

 

I just had a dream about homicidal Pukis.

The premise: I was at a convention somewhere, some cross beween Tokyo and San Diego. I don't remember how or why it happened, but a Puki got really super pissed off at me and decided the best way to deal with it would be to lay down some flammable paper that looked like sandpaper and start setting the upper parts of the convention on fire. After some dodging and chasing and secret passage nonsense, while I was on the phone with the local emergency services the whole time, I managed to escape the little bugger and make it down to the dealers' room on the bottom floor.
However, the violent little Puki had brought a whole gang, and while I was that much bigger than they were, they made up for it in pure spite. I would grab them and throw them over shelves and into booths and it would only delay the vicious little things.
Finally I ended up running across one of my dolls, Rasputin [an old Iplehouse Dk Aaron] and I'm not exactly sure what he did, but once our eyes met I knew everything would be all right; I ended up meeting up with someone the local police had sent out who specialized in Puki attacks [] who escorted me out safely and went in to deal with the menace.

When I got up, just a few minutes ago, I leaned over and patted Rasputin on the head and said "thanks for dealing with the little terrors," and I swear he looks rather satisfied now.

But homicidal Pukis? What did I do to dream of that?

 

I dreamed about dollies last night I was in a big store full of BJDs and my mom said I could buy 5 because it was a big sale But I had only 30 sec to pick them. I found a 2 minifees and one tan iplehouse but than the time was over and I was in a cafe xD I as madly in love ith my tan grl but one minifee turned into a boy with a weird actionmanhead Than I was trying to sell it because I needed clothes for my girls xD Than I woke up haha
