Actual Dreams About Your Doll

Me neither but maybe like you, I just can't remember

 

I don't have a doll yet, but I did have a dream that my aunt got me a ton of Dollfie Dreams. O.o My mom told me that I couldn't go with them to California since I got them though (Which is weird, since the California trip ended a long time ago in real life and I don't think my mom would do that). Weird huh?

 

Recently I've had a couple of dreams about my newest doll's character... that doesn't even exist? I've forbidden myself from giving him a name and personality so I can let him develop these after he's here and complete (being a crazy hybrid and all) and he still shows up in my dreams? I don't get that... TTuTT; how is it even possible???

The only thing I have to recognize that it's him in each and every one of my dreams that he showed up in is because of his characteristic dark blue hair -I ordered his first wig -to be treated as his default one- a week or so ago- and he's always facing away from me, usually with one (or more) things obscuring him from view (I suppose that's just me/my mind trying to keep him distanced so his personality doesn't fully form prematurely) so I've never seen his face. So far he appeared in a park location overlooking a lake, a seaside rocky cliff and walking among a crowd concealed by an umbrella in the rain.

Apparently he and water go together if I'm to judge by my dreams. Now I'm not superstitious neither do I believe in hidden meanings in dreams but I've heard before that water in dreams signifies change? I don't know how true that holds but if it's that way it makes perfect sense somehow as his character is supposed to be a model for both female and male fashions and he gets to be dressed up and "changed" by all sorts of people in a regular basis... Go figure... @__@;

 

I dreamed that my doll finally arrived the other night, my first dolly dream throughout this hobby. I guess months and months of waiting really does get to you. >.< *hangs in there*

 

I had a dream that I was going door to door for some reason and a woman told me that she needed someone to watch her big SD boy for her so of course I offered to help! I took hom out on a walk and i went on a rollercoaster and all was well until I realized that somewhere during that day, I lost him! I had to decide whether I should buy her a new one or make a replica out of clay and convince her that it was him. I think it was a stress dream!

 

this is so comforting! i had a dream last night about dolls, but i cant remember it except when i woke up i thought "did i really dream about my doll?" we had a late night photo session and i wanted to play with her all night, but decided i needed to sleep. i dont remember the dream at all, but felt like i was really becoming an obsessive hobbyist. i guess if i dream about my hobby, it's okay because the rest of you guys are just as crazy.

 

I had a stress-dream about Uncanny Dreams night before last. o_o'
I dreamed that I got to the convention and it was a Sci-Fi event instead, with people in mecha cosplays and Star Trek and Star Wars, etc... I went inside the building and was greeted by a girl with an Asleep Eidolon shipping box saying "We're going to start the opening! Come with me!"

She led me down dark corridors to a little back room where a bunch of doll people were sitting on the floor playing a giant board game shaped like a map of the US. It was more than a little creepy. She started opening the box and it turned out to be an Asleep Eidolon Blue Cherry, not Blue-berry. We all played the board game and sat in the dark with our dolls. I thought, 'this is not what I expected at all.'

last week I fell in love with a doll for sale here, then went to bed and dreamed about her, and I think my Pullips where there too... I kept waking up, seeing them sitting near me and looking at me. it wasn't creepy at all but it did kind of feel like it tied in with something I was dreaming about before I did that partial wake up... that makes sense, right? do you ever partially wake up and dream things going around you, wherever you're sleeping?

I think later that night I woke up with my hand in front of my face and I immediately felt like, I don't know, it was a doll hand or the position reminded me of a doll hand position because it looked like that neutral relaxed position but it wasn't relaxed. Now -that- was kinda creepy.

 

My second BJD dream ever occurred last night and it semi freaked me out as I rarely dream about my hobbies in general. It had to do with my doll's anticipated arrival again - I dreamed that my Lati who should be here hopefully soon was sent in normal skintone and not tan and upon unboxing her and holding her, she shattered into thousands of pieces like glass. Truly horrifying because I've been waiting for this girl for so long and anticipate her more so than any other BJD I've waited for, so it's probably just anticipation anxiety in my dream, LOL

 

I just had another one... someone gave me five or six RS minis and I brought them all home. I was in the middle of posing them on my dresser when I woke up. They were all really lovely dolls, too! I think there was a dark tan Mai and a very pretty Ya girl with a gorgeous face-up.

 

I once had a dream about Latidoll company gonig to shut down... LOL thankfully it didn't happened in real

this week I also had a dream of a doll I'm looking for to buy, the dream about I already owned him or something, and yesterday I found him!! now I'm waiting for him to arrive~~

 

I've had some doll dreams before.

But last night was weird :P

Quite often I don't sleep, but I'm in the "in between" state of wake and sleep. And my dog started barking and snapped me out of it and I vaguely remember talking about Iplehouse. What the heck x3 I whispered "Iplehouse" when I "woke up" and I remember thinking, like I was responding to something, "no...no, iplehouse doesn't do that." Who knows what I was half dreaming about? O.o

 

Oh yeah, I have an entire list of bjd dreams, since I write down almost every dream I have. I have most of my bjd dreams while I'm waiting for one to arrive. Mostly they're about defects, like sticky stuff all over their faces, or unstrung bodies, or some weird guy opening the box ahead of me, or fuzzy purple eyebrows! Stuff like that. Once I dreamed I met other bjd owners and we played a game that involved running from wolves with our dolls. NOT a good idea.

 

Almost every night! Even if it's just a regular dream but my doll is there with me in it. However, at the moment I am trying to decide between a few different dolls and last night I was dreaming about dolls all night, I was just tossing and turning, waking up and falling back to sleep but every time I was dreaming about my favourite doll helping me choose and I was incredibly stressed, just like real life then!

 

Mostly I dream about finding all kinds of doll clothing and accessories, but I have dreams about the kinds of physical stores I wished existed closer to me all the time.

The only time I had a dream with a doll I own in it, I touched her face and it crumbled. When I woke up, I had to go check to make sure she was okay. (She was!)

 

Last night, i dreamed I hated the character of a friends doll. Her doll was so mean to my doll. So I took apart her doll and hid all the pieces outside in the snow. I don't even have Dollie friends. I woke up so guilty feeling, what a horrible person I would be to do that! So strange and terrible.

 

My dreams were never nice when it comes to my dolls, i think it's cause my love for them is so strong that if i had to get rid of them i'd be devastated!
My worst nightmare was that an alien being was putting me on trial, trying to get me to justify my love for an inanimate thing. The ruling as that I should bury it in the Earth, which i could sense in the dream was the last time i'd see him as our Planet was dying. My last scene of the dream was raking soil over his face
dolls are so precious that my dreams bring out my (rather crazy) anxieties!!

 

Just before I ordered my doll, I had a dream she arrived and I opened up the box and she came with so many pairs of eyes I didn't even know what to do with them all. She also came with a few pieces of clothes and two wigs and i was so excited I put so many pairs of eyes in her and the wigs and the clothes and when i woke up I was pretty upset because she wasn't actually here.

I guess I had the dream with so many eyes though because I was looking at BJD eyes because my girl won't come with a default pair and I saw a lot of nice ones. Ha ha. I don't think any company would make that kind of mistake though, there were so many eyes it must have been worth a hundred dollars or so.

Another dream I had though that involved dolls was I had to pack up because the world was ending and I had to escape with the other people and my doll never arrived. Though that certainly should have been the least of my worries.

 

I had a dream last night that for some reason disturbed me. I don't know why o.o In my dream I was chatting to someone about my dolls for some reason, when I started to feel like I was forgetting one. I recall thinking hard on it before vaguely recalling opening one. I couldn't remember his name or when I'd opened him, but I didn't see him anywhere in my room. So I rooted through my closet and unearthed a doll box I didn't remember. Upon opening it I discovered that I did indeed have another doll and yes I had completely forgotten about him.
As I held him and looked at him, I still couldn't place his name or when I'd gotten him. And looking at him his face was blurry, but I could clearly see his size and his exact wig. I also sensed he was from Luts. I put him down and after that didn't hold him again, but through the rest of my dreams last night and even still down, I feel very disturbed by that doll and I'm not sure why o.o
Looking at luts' site I was actually able to find his clothes and wig, but as to the doll itself I've narrowed it down to three possibilities, but it's still difficult to determine who he was. And for some reason the name "Riley" has been stuck in my head all day so that must be his name o.o

 

I had another dream about one of my dolls (so now I've dreamed about three of my specific doll characters, I feel like these deserve little awards or something, haha!) It was a long nightmare of mine, the part where my doll was with me was the best part of the dream. After having my car towed in the rain and then locating it and stealing it back again, then driving across a mordor-esque wasteland I arrived at a hauntingly decrepit Victorian house in the middle of the wastes. I went inside and a service was soon to be had there -- a wedding I was attending, though I don't know if it was supposed to be my own wedding or somebody else's. Everybody (including myself) was dressed in strange costumes of a medieval to Victorian fashion, and this included a lot of citrus fruit colored velvet fabrics. There were some women in the crowd with the most amazing long purple hair I have ever seen. . . it was nearly holographic in the light. I was carrying my doll with me throughout the house waiting for the service to start. I was thinking to myself that I couldn't wait until the service was over so that I could sneak into an empty room to be alone and work on a new face-up for him by candle-light.
