Actual Dreams About Your Doll

I haven't purchased any dolls yet, but since I've been totally obsessing and researching them the last week or two I've been dreaming about them nearly every night. I don't remember any specifics. I only remember that I saw different doll faces and every time I woke up in the night I was thinking about them. Haha. I'm sure it will get worse once I actually have my first doll.

 

I once had a dream about my doll and me travelling in wonderland, it was amazing, we saw a lot of unusual things.

 

I just woke up from one of the best dreams and scary dreams in the world. So in my dream a man just showed up out of no where and said here is your order. as i look at my so called oder its four trucks deep. then he says to me you need to find a store to sell your dolls everything that you make from the sale is yours to keep but you must keep the business afloat for 5 years. then everything gets messy one minute im setting up the store the next im freaking out because i need to find a store and where am i going to put it downtown philly of KOP. next minute im at the store and it full of people and im meeting a lot of people who live in the northeast of the us that are on here. the next im freaking out because i don't know what price to put my dolls for sale. and then im back at the beging and the man tells me i have 200 items of each to sell. Now im freaking out all over aging.
then i just wake up and im like crap. i so wanted all my BJD's to have nice clothes and shoes. and i dont mind having a fewmore dolls my self.

 

The other day I dreamt my doll's lips peeled off, I was horrified. I guess it's because she cane with a face up but I repainted the lips because they were too dark, I must have been worrying about them!

 

I usually dream about my dolls' characters, rather than their doll selves I did have a dream recently about doing a photoshoot with my dolls in a kind of tropical forest setting. I only remember being really concerned about the hot, humid weather, since heat can accelerate yellowing.

 

I've been dreaming about dolls lately. Mostly centering around actually getting one. Makes sense since I've been waiting for ages for my first girl, and found out a couple weeks ago that the EMS package went missing. I still haven't heard anything about her, or the other dolls in the order.

And of course I've been thinking tons about what I'll do if the order never turns up.

 

I had the strangest dream last night, it was actually more of a nightmare. I dreamed that my doll came but it wasn't the one I wanted. She was tiny with an adult body (like a monster high doll). I was furious and crying because they messed up my order and when I called the company they told me that two orders must have got switched and there was nothing they could do. I remember trying to like her but I couldn't and crying because I spent so much time saving up. I remember she had green eyes (must avoid future green eyes for bad association) hahaha.

It was really strange and felt SO real. It was one of those dreams where I was really happy to wake up and realize it was just a dream. My brother was involved in the dream somehow to and I believe he had a doll as well. It's blurry though.

 

Last night I dreamed my brother got me a doll for Christmas. I was so happy, but when I opened it I realized the body didn't look right for the company it was supposed to be, and then I realized the head wasn't right either. The body was from a better brand, but I couldn't identify the head company. I told him that the seller had ripped him off and it wasn't what they told him it was. We then had to go email the seller and find out how to return it so he could get his money back.
I remember waking up and wondering what company had made such an ugly head!

 

I am currently waiting for my Impldoll order to arrive. Last night I had a dream that my tan Aaron was more green than tan and half his face up was missing. My other dolls were the wrong dolls and had chips in them as well was really awful face ups. The weird thing is that Impldoll had posted little stickers on it pointing out all the things that had gone wrong. I remember freaking out in my dream and trying to wash Aaron in the hopes that he would be less green.

 

That's how i got my 2nd doll. I had such a vivid a dream i was sitting on the lawn talking politely to a doll i've never seen before(pretty much alive, moving & of human height), we were comparing the sizes of our lakes, and i lied to her by naming the size of my lake which made it larger than her lake, but it wasn't true & actually mine was smaller. That was... well, really weird, so i thought i gotta find that doll. She was so nice and intelligent. And so i did. She was limited, btw. The funniest thing is she's like 5 years old, why owning lakes at such age?? However, there's a happy ending, my dream brought her to my house.

I also remember having a terrifying dream, loong time ago tho, that my doll was shattered and broken in all of her parts. But that never happened again which is good. That's clearly not a good dream. Not at all.

 

I cannot sew to save my life and recently had my Luts Centaur Hansel girl arrive and love her to bits, but its hard to find clothes for her anywhere so one night a few weeks ago I had a dream that was so detailed, I was making her an outfit and hand sewing lace onto a skirt that would wrap around her and it was just so real. LOL I can't remember ever dreaming about my dolls before.

Just had a freakish dream in which I was traveling, although I can't remember to where(Canada?) and at the destination I had all of my dolls and everything was hunky-dory. Then I'm getting ready to board the plane back, but I'm trying to make sure all my luggage(dolls) are there, but it's like a camp house cabin full of random luggage, and then suddenly my mom is there and I've found two or three out of four or five pieces of luggage(I remember missing two cases, but I can't remember how many I had total). My mom is calling some department to try and help me find my luggage but I wanted to grab the luggage I did find to bring it with me and as I'm doing that I find Kle's case (which is a giant blue re-purposed golf bag). And at first I'm super excited and I dance around with the golf bag but then I notice it's really light and there are bows(of the archery kind) sticking out of the top. So I pull out his pillow sleeve and it just flops around, empty. Kle, my grail doll, my most expensive doll, my most prized of all my dolls, is gone, not missing, but likely stolen. So I start panicking and crying and my mom comes over and asks 'is the case there', so I say 'yes', so she says 'then it's in the case', and I throw it at her and say 'fine, tell me what's in there', and her reply is 'Lu-Wen' and when I go to look myself is when I wake up...
So. Dolls as Carry-On luggage only, where I can keep an eye on them, and apparently when my mom and I road trip to move her down to AZ and then fly me back home, I am bringing my Lu Wen.
Otherwise I am at my parent's house, so my Kle is not here for me to check up on him and make sure he is here and in one piece... So I'm still freaking out just a tiny bit...

 

Last night I dreamt is was christmas morning and my Mum gave my my present, a doll (which is true, I am getting a doll, I know since we both paid half) and I opened it. She had freckles on her tummy and chest and arms but I thought the ones on her arms had smudged but when I looked closer she actually had giraffe patterns on her arms and swirls and things which I thought was a shame since the freckles looked so nice! She also had buttons on her eyes and LEDs sticking out of them so the lit up, I remember thinking that was a bit odd. I thought she was lovely though which is great because I usually have bad dreams! I woke up feeling really impatient because I couldn't wait to start christmas, give my mum her presents and open mine.... It took me about half an hour before I realised it's not christmas today! I'm so disappointed! ^^"

 

Due to living space overhaul and decor renovations and work and selling art at various conventions and a very busy couple of years.... I hadn't been able to give my two poor dolls much thought or attention.

Then the other day I had a dream that I was ordering my poor neglected Dok some GOOD clothing at last online. It was a small part of an otherwise unrelated dream but I felt excited about it. When I woke up I half thought that I did order some things and I was confused about it for a few minutes. So today I logged back on here after at least a year or more of not logging on, I (hopefully) will have some clothes from Tata's paradise coming sometime this month as well as a simple couch for the two of them.

Funny what dreams can do, huh? Guess the good doctor wanted some clothes.

 

I've only had a few dreams with my dolls. Most of them involve the doll breaking or getting damaged--which causes me to freak out. I always feel the need to check on them when I wake up, just to make sure.

 

Had a dream early this morning that all my dolls had disappeared from their usual places in my bedroom. As soon as I realized I didn't know where they were I started to panic. I couldn't imagine where they'd gone as I didn't remember moving them, and the only other person who might've been in my room (my sister) also claimed not to have touched them. After a few minutes of worried searching around the room I found two of my dolls laid carelessly facedown inside a storage tote. I felt it must've been me who put them there like that, but I truly couldn't remember why I'd do such a thing. Then I suddenly woke up, feeling super confused & a little shaken, but definately grateful I'd woken up when I did; I was afraid to find out what had become of all my other dolls!

 

When I've become set on buying a doll, I have dreams of the box opening :O
My mind just can't wait to open the box and see the beautiful doll...

 

Interesting how as soon as I get back into this hobby I start having dreams again about these guys.
Last night was something odd and upsetting. They were more like characters carrying out a story than dolls (odd for me), something upsetting though I can't quite remember it now. There was a sense of tragedy and despair from Darwin, real fear- like there was something important and dangerous he had to tell someone. I partially blame re listening to my audiobook of "The Alienist" while falling asleep- it was a similar sort of mood to the book, come to think of it. Just- with the dolls. Very strange.

 

I was dreaming about Hiza (my Luts Choux ~Sweet Holiday~) & Koji (my CrobiDolls E-Line Yeon-Ho).
They were chasing me around the house, "We want shoesss !"
They didn't have shoes that time hahaha, cause I kept forgetting their shoes every time I make a purchase

 

I dreamt my girl's lips came off (AGAIN!) but it was a different doll this time. I was paining them back on but thinking I should send her back to the company to have them done properly and I woke up with a start! I felt to relieved, her lips are fine!
