Actual Dreams About Your Doll

Long before I even found Avian I had a dream where I was in a thrift shop and I found three msd sized dolls, The only I can remember was a girl doll wearing a red curly wig and sleepy eyes. They costed a hundred dollars each.
My other one was that Avian was on fire and I manged to save was their head, I sure woke up in a panic after that one.

 

I've had dreams about the doll chateau doll arali. It was just her walking through the birch wood trees and finding a deer skull then I woke up. So now I know what other doll I need to get hahaha.

 

One time I had a dream that I had gotten a whole bunch of the sculpts that I wanted at the time.... I woke up feeling elated then extremely disappointed once I realized it did not actually happen... :,)

Last night I had a dream that I was sitting my dolls somewhere and my Dollmore Alexia snapped back and plowed my Leekeworld Oatmeal guy in the face.... somehow the force managed to create this crack that went from one side of his faceplate to the other (he had a faceplate in the dream for some reason). I was really panicked but the pieces still fit together okay and would stay on if he had his headcap/wig on... but in the meantime I had to make a new WTB ad in the marketplace for a Leekeworld Oatmeal head knowing full well they were discontinued.... it was extremely stressful.

 

I dream about dolls VERY often-- it's probably these darn pregnancy hormones! They give you strange dreams either way... but seriously. I dream about dolls a lot-- I've had to stay home for several months due to health so I've been very lonely, but my dolls keep me happy.

 

I've only had a couple, one where I brought my floating head Arwen to class with me and they started playing keep away with her, I was mortified when I woke up, I've also had one where she kept breaking.
I had one recently about the doll I have on layaway, about getting him out and everything being wrong-like having a female body instead of a male one, having a terrible faceup even though I ordered him blank, his face not being anything like the pictures...Mostly anxiety dreams!

 

I hadn't had any dreams worth noting before, but last night I did.

I dreamed I went to my niece's birthday party and for some reason I took Jayden and Jazmyn. A little kid drew on Jayden's foot with an ink pen and I got really upset and confronted the redneck dad, telling him Jayden was rare and discontinued and he owed me $300 for the damage to fix it. The guy got hostile, and after some unpleasantness, and details not related, I ended up outside talking to the police. At this point, the building had been evacuated but Jayden and Jazmyn were still inside. They wouldn't let me go in to get them, and thought I was stupid for wanting the dolls when there were much more serious problems.

It was a pretty terrifying dream, and it felt like Jayden and Jazmyn were my only safety, and I couldn't get to them. Really awful!

 

I dreamed that my girl Zephyr came alive. She looked more fairy-like than she does as a doll. She would crawl up my arm to sit in my shoulder and whisper secrets into my ear. She was even more mischievous than I made her character! It was cool.

 

I didn't sleep well last night because I kept dreaming about my doll (and the Mori moth I want.) I don't remember what they were about but they kept waking me up... I just want to play with her and make things D: Hopefully I can get a printer tonight so I can print out patterns for her.

 

The day after i found the doll i really wanted, i had a dream about her, she wasnt totslly a doll so we ended up chatting and smoking on a roof. We talked about the universe and life. It was actually super heavy lmao.

 

Today I had a third nightmare about my Wolf maidens face up. In that dream I have taken her into my hands and noticed that sealant had a lot of bubbles in it and the head became squishy as if it was made of vinyl. After I have removed the face up, there were holes under her eyeliner. I wish I sow my girl in nice dreams.

 

I've been spending a lot of time with my Dollfie Dream girls recently, and the other night I had a nightmare that I opened the door to my hobby room and their shelf was empty! I ran around the house looking for them but never found them. It was awful- I had to open the door to check on them the moment I woke up

 

I have dreamed about my dolls back stories. Like how they came to be and how their stories fit together and such.

 

i'm currently waiting for a head to ship (my first bjd!! i have his body at home), and i've had a couple of dreams about doing his faceup or putting in eyes. [wistful sigh] i'm really anxious for my boy to be home ; _ ;

 

I've had a few dreams about a box opening gone horribly wrong. Broken fingers, cracks and such.

 

I've actually had 3 dreams on different occasions about one doll, and it's not a doll I have! It's Doll Chateau Christina (a doll I really like). In the first dream, my grandma (who is not a doll collector) had her own Christina, that she had customized and done the faceup for, and had a Tumblr blog about her! And at the end of the dream my grandma was getting ready to go to a meetup, without me. In the second dream, my mom had givin me Christina for my birthday, but what she didn't know is that she was a fake, we were both horrified, that dream just ended there. I think in the third dream, I finally had a Christina, legit and all, but I can't remember now!

 

I have never dreamed about one of my dolls, anyway to my remembrance and I hope I never do lol

 

I've had a bunch of dreams with my dolls in it. Most of the time they aren't the main focus of the dream and are in the background but I do have those weird dreams where I'm one of them or the ones that cause me to jump awake like the ones where they break.

The most recent one I had was really terrifying. I was in my house when some kids came into my room and started touching my dolls. And one of them dropped my favorite doll and he had a crack going down his face. All my other dolls got their faceups chipped and all their clothes got dirty. When I woke up in the middle of the night, I had to check them to make sure everything was fine.

I also get a lot of dreams about owning a certain doll and waking up seeing that it was just a dream and I'm like I really have to order that doll now.

 

I've had a ton of doll dreams! I've only written down a few, though. The ones that only involve dolls I actually own usually involve them getting hurt in some way - One time I dreamed I tried to use a magic eraser on a little mark on Amriel's head, but ended up messing up and smearing his faceup somehow OTL I also dreamed that he was a secondhand doll with a lot of weird damage, like carving on his arm and three scribbly tattoos down his chest? I also had dreams of them crumbling or yellowing in front of my eyes, usually during stressful times at college. The only dream that hasn't involved them getting hurt was me packing them up before time-traveling - I'm glad I had my priorities straight!

Lately, I just have a ton of bjds I don't own popping up in dreams...It's kind of disappointing when I wake up and don't have them anymore. An incomplete list of the more interesting ones:

- An MSD girl with dark red hair, meant to be Apollo's older sister. This was one of the saddest ones to wake up and not have - She was super cute and I think I'd have a hard time bonding with girl dolls, but not her OTL

- A chubby anthro cat MSD girl, no other details written down.

- An anthro cat YoSD fullset called "The Lion from _____", with lower-set, more rounded ears compared to most cat bjds.

- A blue-skinned YoSD with white eyes (glass, with silvery white pupils) and white hair. He also had an Unoa-like eye mechanism.

It'd be cool to hear if any more people dreamed about very specific, but nonexistent dolls, especially if they tend to be a certain kind of bjd - Apparently, my subconscious really likes smaller bjds and cat ones.

 

i don't even have one yet and I flipping do! I was writing with a european site yesterday and this very night i dreamt about placing an order and getting my very first Lucifer! Then i woke up and felt super happy, before realising "wait, even if you place your order now, it'll take like three months anyways.. You don't have Lucifer yet." D:

Anyone else have actual-at-night-dreams about their dolls, be they future or current?

 

I've had nightmares about Vince being snatched out of my arms at a party...

I know I've had other dreams with him, but they weren't as memorable/scary. I can't recall any dreams about the others. I did have dreams about having dolls I don't own, though-- including a very unrealistic dream where I had a big, gorgeous tan SD boy... and I was just neglecting him completely! Not just 'left him in the safety of his box for weeks without touching him' neglecting, but 'left him lying around the hazardous mess of my bedroom while in the process of moving all my furniture and crap and forgot about his existence until I noticed he was one of the few unpacked things lying in a dusty corner', which... yeah. I mean, I wouldn't do that to one of the OT dolls I'd bought at Target for under twenty bucks, much less a doll who must have been twice as expensive as any of my real dolls!
