Actual Dreams About Your Doll

Just yesterday night I dreamt that my tiny's lips got messed up and I had to redo his face-up and was unable to

 

I had a dream the other night where I was waiting, and at first I didn't know what for, then a box arrived and I was all excited and it was a Soom box (absolutely massive) and I ran outside and brought it in, started to open it... and then woke up Dx didn't even get to see the doll in the box.

 

I dreamed I ordered an SD sized doll (I own only 1 MSD). Anyway, in my dream the doll came in the mail and she was HUGE! Standing, her head came to my waist. I was like, "what in the world am I going to do with this monstrosity??!" LOL

 

In my dream the other night my sister & I were shopping in a clothing boutique. We were excited because it turned out they carried the same clothes in both human & doll sizes! The human size stuff was on hangers on four-arm racks, and the doll stuff was in packets neatly organized in wicker baskets placed on china cabinet type furniture. Each cabinet was for a different size doll. At the end of the dream I was standing around waiting for my sister to finish paying for her purchase when I suddenly realized I had somehow missed looking at the Yo-size clothing cabinet. I was heading over to it in a rush when I woke up. XD

 

That would probably be the most awesome shop ever. WHY DOESN'T THIS EXIST??

 

The only dream I've ever had about my dolls, are ones where they get stolen... ;_;

 

I once dreamed that I was going to give Elijah a face-up, and got black paint all over his face... wat

 

I've had a couple of doll-related dreams, but the one that comes to mind happened while I was waiting for my first doll to arrive. I dreamed that she had arrived early but she looked like an obitsu and was about the size of a Barbie. I was so disappointed, since she was supposed to be an MSD size and not made of Barbie-like plastic. Boy, was I happy when I woke up. XD

 

I dreamed a few weeks ago that there was a serial killer on the loose, and he was after some people I knew--not well, and not people I liked--but for whatever reason, he was in my house. And apparently had nothing he could gain from killing me.

But to get to me, he had to go through my bathroom, where my newest doll, Meri was. I realized too late in the dream that she was something he could actually take away from me, and when I went to check, he'd sliced her face in half. Needless to say, I woke up in a pretty bad panic!

...Her face-up chipped a few days later. Talk about an unwanted prophetic dream!

 

I'm glad i'm not the only person who has dreams about there dolls being damaged in some way. Iv had a few where someone has ruined a face-up and always woken up feeling overwhelmingly relieved when I find my dolls sat just as they were before. Iv also had a few dreams about getting shipping notices though. These are more annoying dreams because I wake up from the excitement of a shipping notice to find there is still no news! This is probably a sign I think about my dolls far to much

 

A month or two ago I dreamed that I sat up in bed late one night and saw Lysander walking casually across the floor of my room, toward my brother's door. I immediately hissed, "Lysander! You get back in bed this instant!" and he jumped, startled, turned around and ran out of the room! I leaped out of bed to chase him and then the dream ended. It was the first time I had left him out overnight (as in not tucked away in his drawer) and it scared me a little.

Then just a few nights ago I dreamed a friend came to me with a beautiful female Soom doll and asked me to give her a faceup. No matter how many times I said, "No way! I'll ruin her, I'm not good enough!" They kept asking over and over and finally were trying to GIVE me the head. I kept telling my friend over and over to take her away, no, please, I can't do it, really, you'll hate me when you see what I do to her face...
And then in the end of the dream I was sketching with the head in front of me deciding how I was going to do it. I'm such a pushover!

 

Oh man, guys, I had another doll dream last night. XD And this one I remember fairly well.

So, in the dream, I think I was intended to be in my room--thought it looked nothing like my actual bedroom--and I was looking at my dolls: three MSD sized boys. They were turned toward the wall, one bent over as though investigating a lamp or something. Apparently, that is not how I had positioned them before, so I was thinking how odd that was. (Didn't even occur to me that I don't even own three boys, lol.)

I looked behind the low bedside table they were on and saw quite a few little dolls has fallen behind it. (Most weren't even BJDs...) I picked one up and tried to position her to stand up, but I was afraid she'd fall behind again. She was dressed like an older porcelain doll, and had a slightly open mouth with teeth showing. I thought, "Hey, how come I have a doll with teeth? I don't like dolls with teeth. O_o" And right before my eyes it changed slightly to where it looked like a small child doll with several teeth missing. This seemed perfectly normal in the dream, as my mind explained it as "I didn't see it clearly the first time." I now thought the doll looked kind of cute and I would keep it.

A little later, I had a naked doll laid out and she was covered in a thin dusting of potting soil-like dirt. I was trying to dust it off, but people were looking over my shoulder judging me. I think the doll was supposed to be Evelyn (my 5SD Ji) but she was a little too big and I think had white skin instead of pink. The face was blurred out, sort of, or maybe she was just missing her face-up, so I couldn't really see too well.

Later on, in a new place, I was looking through a shoebox sized cardboard container filled with little dolls. Like, one-and-a-half to two-and-a-half inches tall little. XD Most seemed to just be plastic, but I did find a cute little BJD in there. Its face was pretty much non-existent and kind of flat, like it was a robot-type head or something, lol. I thought how sad it was that it had been abandoned so I was going to keep it.

And then I woke up. I think I had read one too many threads here on DOA before I went to sleep.

 

I dreamt that my little Hujoo's head (which is huge) shrunk to the size of a glass marble. It deformed and got this "Chucky"-look. So (??) I put another head over it.

 

I do dream about dolls, but half of the time is a nightmare...I dream that my dream doll that I bought last month will not be shipped or even I don't get her at all...

 

I dreamt that two of my dolls somehow ended up in work with me and my colleagues threw them out thinking they were rubbish. I climbed into the skip and searched the bins but couldn’t find them anywhere. In my dream I “woke up” in my room and went over to where I normally keep my dolls, only to find the two that were thrown away were gone. It was one of those realistic dreams where you believe what’s happening but a part of you can still control your actions and thoughts.

 

I once had a dream that I had the doll that I want on the subway, and that another person on the subway kept on playing with her. I have very odd dreams sometimes...

 

I had a crazy dream last night. It's really long, but . . .

My new girl is on her way irl to me right now, but in my dream the box arrived. But there were 3 boxes, not one. I opened one and it had a grey skined "pullip" type doll with vampire teeth. I started freaking out because that was not a doll I wanted ever. There was also a Bobobie yo-sd in the same box. Also not one I wanted.
I opened the second box and inside was a lizard type doll (think "The Amazing Spiderman" xD) and a BUNCH of pukipuki's. Puki's I like, but they're not on my want list as of yet.
The third box had some other random doll I didn't want.
I somehow found out the dealer I ordered from had sent me someone ELSES order and sent them MY order. I started freaking out.

Eventually we got in contact. It was arranged I was to meet the other person at her house. When I got there she said something like "I'm SO glad you have my stuff. When I opened the box and saw that DEAD UGLY doll I was horrified!" This almost offended me but then I got worried that she didn't have MY order, but someone elses. I opened the box, and it was the Doll Family Shana I ordered . . . except for one MAJOR difference.
Her mouth a pulled into a HUGE "joker" like smile with three yellow HUGE buck teeth that stuck out from her upper lip all the way to the top of her chin. I started freaking out because that was NOT what I ordered and paid $400 for! From there I woke up.

But when I fell back asleep I had again received my box, with a doll that looked MUCH more like the Shana (no weird teeth! yay!). But I soon realized the wig and shoes I ordered her were not in the box. I found out that the same person from the first dream had kept those to herself and I had to find a way to get them back. >_< It was crazy. I also remember somewhere along the line being sad because I forgot to take pictures for a box opening. LOL

 

Last night I dreamed that I received the perfect doll ... except that she was held together with thin, fragile zip-ties instead of elastic. The zip-ties broke almost immediately, and it was going to cost a mint to order more.

 

A couple days after I got my very first doll, I had a horrible dream that her face-up got ruined. Her eyelashes fell off and everything got ruined and smudged. I know in reality this was an easy fix, but in the dream, it was as if my doll was ruined and she would never be the same again. It was probably caused since the day before she took a nose dive while she was standing and got this small green blemish right on her cheek (I was able to wipe it off with some soap and water without damaging her blushing and face-up though!).

That's the only dream about my doll so far, and it was fairly traumatic at the time. OTL

 

I dreamt of my first doll back home just yesterday.... I'm thinking that it's just that I miss him (and the others there) so much, given that i've been away from home for three months now ):
