Actual Dreams About Your Doll

Dreamt that my doll-to-be was hovering over my shoulder as a cartoon animation (everything in the dream was realistic, except her, she was drawn as if by Robert Zemeckis), watching me making her and giving advice: "I think my boobs should be a little bigger. Yes, like that, that looks way better."

Kind of nice, actually. Like her spirit is already here, and just waiting for me to complete her body so she can live in it.

 

I once dreamed about my Ringdoll Frankenstein, before I got him. He was a grail doll of mine and had gotten away from me many, many times. I once shed tears over him, ha xD One night, I dreamed I had acquired him, but he was the size of a big child and was alive, wriggling in my arms as I tried carrying him away @.@

 

I had my first doll-dream for a while. I little short nightmare...

In my dream I heard a woman screaming like she gets murdered or is falling out of the window from a neighbour flat. Then I woke up paniced by the scream. I was unable to move a limb and my sight was blurry and I had a feeling something is there. Even unable to speach all I wished for was to know where Eph is. I had a vague idea where in my room his dollyform is, but wasn't sure und therefore wished for his "spirit" to be there. Then I finally was able to move again.
This part felt like a sleep paralysis, but I can't tell if it was one...

The odd thing is that normaly (for the big scaredy cat I am after nightmares) I would want the companion of my mother (who sleeps next door) but I wanted to be with him....
yeah what would Freud say... o_o''

 

I don't know if it's the weird herbal medicine I am taking right now or what, but I have been having lots and lots of very vivid and funny dreams!
Last night I dreamed I was up here in the bonus room where the dolls are kept and saw a big, relatively flat postage envelope on the floor. (It was like 4'x3' by two inches thick, what? )

I suddenly remembered I had ordered something doll-related and tore it open. Inside was a literal sea of red and blonde fiber wigs, all exactly identical, however there must have been around 150 of them. I remember thinking, "Dang, that's a lot of wigs! This must have cost me a fortune!"

As I started to paw through them (and realized the package was a lot deeper than it looked from the outside) I pulled out a Dollfie Dream and suddenly got all excited, though she isn't a doll I've been planning on or anything. I ran and got on the phone to my friend and was telling her how awesome these dolls are, because they're so much lighter than resin ones and "once you pick them up you CAN'T put them down!" while saying this I am literally ping-ponging the doll with my hand and she keeps bouncing back and landing in my hand in a different pose. I was attributing this simply to 'magnets' in my little dream-world.

I eventually go back to the package and pull out a fictional doll, some hyper-realistic busting-at-the-seams muscular draft horse centaur-man doll from Iplehouse, who I set on the table without much fanfare. He immediately settled into a dramatic rearing battle pose, but I hardly looked at him. (Weird, because of the two dolls mentioned I'd rather have this guy...)

I then realize I was supposed to go to my grandmother's house for the week and that I can't bring ALL these dolls with me, so I start packing clothes for myself and my boys. Along the way I come across where I've set the Dollfie Dream and there is a floating head sitting next to her. I think, "Oh, I shouldn't leave this sitting out all week," grab it, and go to put it in a little padded box. But suddenly there's another head, a Minimee of some kind, right beside the box. I put it in, and there's another, this time a Dreaming Vampire Shiwoo, and then there's another and I'm running out of room in my box. Finally I throw up my hands and yell, "Where did I go WRONG? So many heads!"

I go back to packing and I'm just about to head out the door when I realize I've packed Lysander's clothes but forgotten the boy himself, and run back upstairs. As soon as I take him off the dresser I get a phone call that I'm not going to Grandma's after all. I got the distinct impression that he had somehow orchestrated it because he didn't want to go.

I've been having a lot of dolly dreams lately, but I can't remember the specifics of any of them. I think it's cuz I'm TRYING to wait till Christmas to unbox the two (my first) little girls I got from Latidoll, since I bought them so close to the holiday. I can do it!! But not if I keep having dolly dreams! lol

 

I dreamt my Christmas tree had giant doll eyes instead of regular balls. 0.o It was actually kind of cool... I might just do that in miniature version with my doll's tiny tree...

 

I haven't had any dreams with my actual dolls in them, but I've had a couple of dreams where I am shopping for little clothing for them... but then they keep getting tinier and tinier and they disappear. Ha! Dreams...

 

I actually have a lot of dreams about my dolls n_n though part of that is fault to the fact that they are characters in my work-in-progress comic haha.

 

I tend to dream more about dolls I have on order, than the dolls I have at home. This has happened before but the latest one was a dream I had the night after I placed my most recent order. I was watching them cast my girl's head and cleaning off the flashing. It was actually kind of neat!

 

It only happened once. I had a dream that I had taken my doll outside, and was holding him like a parrot on my arm.

 

I seem to dream about dolls all the time.

Last night I had a dream that there was a giant wooden ship parked in my BFF's backyard during a barbecue, and everyone was crowded around to see it. Suddenly something went wrong and the ship was sinking and full of puppies and BJDs and all the young people ran onto the ship to start grabbing puppies to save them from drowning. I went underneath the deck of the ship and grabbed two puppies before there was a giant CRASH as the ship broke away from the dock and started to sink faster.

My friends were all on the upper deck when I jumped off into the water, but they stood there screaming with their arms full of puppies and BJDs. The ship started sailing away and I swam after it as fast as I could. For some reason I was wearing giant rubber boots so I tore those off.

I lost track of my friends, but started looking for 'clues' about their whereabouts under the water. The river bottom was completely littered with dismembered dolls of all kinds, mainly Barbies and baby dolls. But suddenly I saw a BJD, and another, and another, and I found a plastic bag and started filling it with dolls thinking they must belong to all the people back at the house, and I hoped I could find all of them, because those people would be heartbroken!

By the time I found my friends, I had entered a swampy area where I could stand up while wading through the water looking for dolls. They had torn apart the remains of the ship and turned it into a makeshift raft, so we all started back up the river searching and digging parts up (apparently we had forgotten/abandoned the puppies by now) one friend would find a wig and call out, "Anyone missing 7-8 red fiber?" and another would come up saying, "Black SD Dollheart boots, anyone? Anyone missing boots?" and sometimes they would come up with a whole doll out of the swamp bottom and go, "AHH, I found a Migidoll Ryu!" (How could she tell through all the mud?)

We did this all the way back to the house, piling dolls and stuff on the raft and swimming alongside it.

 

I never dreamed about my own dolls, but I did once dream about BJDs in general!

I dreamed that a Volks store opened up in my city. My boyfriend and I went there, excited. However, when we got there, we were struck by the prices, which makes sense, since it was Volks. I saw this Dollfie Dream that I really wanted, she was so beautiful. I also talked to the manager about possibly getting a job there. So they gave me an application. Anyway, when my boyfriend and I got home, he pulled out the Dollfie Dream, as well as this beautiful 70cm boy who didn't look like anything I've ever seen from Volks. He had shoplifted them for me! :O I was so upset, because part of me wanted to keep the doll, but I knew it was wrong, so I demanded that he take them back to the store and tell them that there's been some sort of mix-up and he somehow ended up with the dolls. I was especially concerned about this because I was scared that, if they found out that I was in possession of the stolen dolls, I would most assuredly NOT get the job...

...And then I woke up.

 

I had a doll-related dream though it wasn't about any of my dolls or any I want to own.. but I had a dream I ordered 5 Minifees (3 Moe-Line girls and 2 boys) just because I had some money, and my mother screamed at me and said I was a bad influence on everyone for buying them.

 

I've never had any dreams about dolls I own...at least as of yet. I'm still waiting for my first BJD. But I have had a few doll-related dreams.
The first doll dream I had was that I bought a BJD from a convention, and when I went to put on her wig, it stained her entire head yellow! I think I freaked out quite a bit.
I also had another dream when I was in the process of saving up for my first doll. In the dream I was becoming too impatient with saving up money, so I just ordered a random tiny instead because it was cheaper. I ended up not liking her very much, and she kind of just sat on my desk all the time.

 

I had a nightmare a few weeks ago about my dolls. I was at a BJD party and the guy hosting it stole all my dolls. I went around beating people up and threatening them,and the host finally gave my dolls back. He said he stole them to find out how much I really appreciated them.

 

I saw a doll for sale on ebay who I instantly fell in love with and when I went to bed that night I had a dream about buying her and her character formed in my mind and that affected my whole dolly plan and group and cemented a vague idea I had about another doll so that when I woke up the next day I knew I not only needed to buy her but also knew exactly how on of my incoming heads would be once he has a body etc. Unfortunately for me she went for more than I could afford at the time but it must have been fate because less than a week later I found the same sculpt on the marketplace and put her on layaway

 

My dream was way back when I was still in the early stages of saving for my Tetsuya. I had this really vivid dream that my package arrived and I was so excited to open him but before I could actually pull him out of his box and look at him, I would wake up.
Every time. Needless to say, that dream was very discouraging when I woke and realized I still haven't even purchased him yet.

 

I posted here before, but I so long to post again, I love dreams and dream a lot. 2 years ago, I had my first dollie dream, SD13 Isao and SD16 Yukinojo were real human boys/men. Isao spoke with me and told me his name is Anthony. Yukinojo expressed his sadness that my favorite doll is Isao and not him. They were taller and stronger than me. These are sweet dreams I treasure for life.

A few weeks ago, I dreamed I was on a journey with my new doll (Reisner), while he did not speak with me in the dream and he was not real life size men like Anthony and Yukinojo were in my first dream, I knew in my heart, Reisner's name is Henry, he is British. It was a peaceful journey, we were traveling in the right direction towards our destination, we have not arrived yet but we're on our way and we're enjoying ourselves along the way. There was a deep sense of peace that Henry is a permanent member in my doll family.

 

Oh thank god, I had a dream recently about my boy (BBB Dong), who I've been anxiously waiting for since I ordered him.
I'm not sure if this will be OT, seeing as the entirety of the dream was me fretting about him not getting here (ever!) or, more recently, that when I eventually get my Alice, that she'll be too short for him! *Frets*

I had that moment of "wow... maybe I need to get out more" when I woke up. ^_^;;

 

I once dreamt that I received a BBB Apollo in the mail, but he was an MSD that I'd gotten on the MP for $100. I even had a spare wig and eyes for him, and more than one doll at home already. I woke up right as I was getting him dressed, sorely disappointed that I didn't have a new doll waiting for me...
