Actual Dreams About Your Doll

One night I dreamed that it was easter, and there were lots of people, including me, waiting to be given something. I never did figure out what. But then, I was outside, and my grandad was arguing with someone, and everyone seemed really angry, and when I got home, I ended up in an argument with a room full of people and this is where my doll comes in, apparently I had a bag with my boy Kaylyn in it, and I put it on the floor and stormed out of the room. Later when I went back to the room and only a couple of people were left, I opened the bag and Kaylyn was there, in pieces, disintegrating, covered in bugs with a ruined faceup. I was crying when I woke up :/
He might not be difficult to replace or even expensive, but if I did replace him, I'm worried he wouldn't be Kaylyn anymore.

Edit: I just remembered something else, potentially from the same dream but I'm not sure.
I was in my grandparents house before they had some rearranging done, and there were lots of shady looking people everywhere. I was carrying Kaylyn around with me, but I think I put him down for a minute and then he was gone...

 

Last night I dreamt Avalon my RS Song was like Kyubey from Madoka Magica. I wished for strength and I was the strongest Magical Girl ever..Kicking butt of witches....>_> Literally I basically dreamed I was in Mami Tomoe's body during episode 2 and kicked butt only instead of a witch it was the trouble I've been having issues with the last few days..It felt so real...In a dream sense..

 

i dream my dolls actually attract spirits... saw 2 orbs entering my room from the outside windows into 2 of the dolls in my dream.
another is a dream that continues for 3 nights in a roll, of a young girl spirit who follows me home, in my dream i talk to her and invited her to choose one as her vessel.

 

I've had dreams of my dolls breaking, chipping, and burning in a fire. I've also had dreams about winning a "doll lottery" where I had 20 different dolls with clothes and accessories delivered to my house. But the best dream I've ever had was about my Soom Amber.

I dreamt that I was walking in a beautiful, sunny meadow in the summer when I came across someone standing beneath a tree in the shade. The figure turned to look at me and I immediately recognized her as my Amber, but she was real. I was so happy to see her. Her expression lit up when she saw me, and I knew she recognized me too. She motioned with her delicate fingers to come towards her. I walked up to her and she was tall, she stood at least six and a half feet in height. She pulled me into an embrace and we just stood underneath the tree for a long time. It felt like she was my protector and best friend, like we had known each other since the dawn of time. We didn’t need to say anything to understand each other. It sounds kind of cheesy now but it felt so real!

 

I do dream about my dolls. last time, i dreamed about my archangel Dorian, the dream was so awesome it gave me a lot of new ideas for his BG story...wish my daughter hadn't woken me up!!

 

I once dreamed that I was at the dollar store and I found a bin of BJD's!!! They were all kind of a whitish plastic but they were ball jointed and 1 dollar each! I didn't like their faces but I bought a bunch anyways for mod work.

I also dreamed that the doll I'm getting soon from the market place came moded horribly wrong!! The owner in my dream had turned her from single to double jointed, but they joints were horrible and she just flopped everywhere and looked really diss proportionate @_@.

 

I had a dream where my doll was also the vessel for a wayward spirit (dreamed this several years ago). It was very important to me in the dream that I protect the fragile spirit living inside one of my dolls.

I also had a very silly dream somewhat more about a year ago where my two oldest (and favorite) dolls were fighting with swords what could only be described as a "turkey phoenix." The dream was incredibly weird because the dolls were real people who looked exactly the same as the two dolls do but were not any taller! So the "turkey phoenix" was truly monstrous next to them. Oh well, they seemed to think they could handle this monster. I remember it was very weird to hear their voices in the dream (they were talking to each other) and one of the dolls sounded like Mc Chris.

I tend to have dolls as a recurring part of dreams though. Sometimes I will be in the middle of one and I will suddenly find myself in a creepy store filled with abandoned, neglected doll parts. Sometimes I will find whatever BJD I am most heartbroken over at the time there (dream dolls you can't ever afford, etc) and I will feel just like I used to when I was a kid at the toy store, overflowing with happiness. Even though these stores are always very frightening, dark and abandoned, I don't ever want to leave.

 

Hmmm.. I have had dreams about my dolls before they arrive, all "nightmares". It has happened that everytime I order a doll, I have a dream about them arriving and they are just not what I expected. They usually look deformed or like a completely different doll than what I ordered. I think these dreams result from the fact that yes, I am actually scared of not liking the doll when it arrives. But I have never disliked I doll I ordered when I got it .

Other than those dreams, I do remember one more where I was having a somewhat out-of-body experience where I watched myself sleep. I was able to see my full room and I walked up to my dolls sitting on my shelf. Then I woke up. It was a very weird dream to say the least haha.

 

I had a dream a few nights ago that my Luts Delf Claus was always just outside my line of sight, and even when I would turn as quickly as I could he would have moved. I was in my old high school, and I think I was a teacher or something because I knew I wasn't a student... So as I'm looking for him, wandering through the corridor, I see some nonexistent super-doll sitting on the Pepsi machine. When I reach up to grab him, I hear this ear-piercing shriek and when I turn around my Clause is RIGHTINMYFACE.
I woke up then.

 

I think having bad dreams about dolls getting messed up means that we really do love and fear for them lol. I dreamed once that I put something hot beside my doll while I was working on him and the hot iron (or whatever it was) burned melted grooves into his leg. I frantically went on the internet to see about ordering replacement leg pieces from Resin Soul, but then I woke up and realized that my baby was fine lol. That also makes me realize that if that actually can happen then I could probably paint the melted spots to look like wounds lol.

The only other dream I had was that my house was on fire and I sent my uncle inside to rescue my doll. I would NEVER do that in real life!!!

 

I actually had a quick dream the other night that I was on DoA, reading a random thread. XD It was something about someone's doll had been sent to the wrong country mistakenly, and the country's mail system was refusing to forward it on. Whoever was in charge of the mail was treating the case sort of like a "finders keepers" or something. The tone of their communication to the OP was really childish, like, "It's in our country now, so now you can't have it! Ha!". There were many reply posts on the thread expressing shock, horror, and sympathy about the situation, and I was about to add one of my own, but I woke up. lol

 

I've never dreamed with my dolls!
But by this thread, that is probably a good thing!
So many scary/disturbing dreams
Many don't even have anything scary actually happen, but there always seem to be one or more things which seem just off!

 

Once I dreamed my doll walked around on her own and hade a knife in her hand and was stabbing the stuffed animals around her and turned to me and jumped at me trying to kill me then I woke up and turned to look at her and she was just staring off in space, normal thora and I was relieved

 

I've never dreamt of MY dolls, but I've dreamt about BJDs in general. Usually weird crackhead dreams...

 

I've got a dream too about I was so aggressive when I sleep and I always sleep beside my two Yo of course covered with pillow. I accident sleep on them and I make them broke the whole body including their cute head, I was so sad... when I wake up oh thank goodness it just a dream XD

 

Oh gosh, a few weeks ago I dreamt that one of my doll's faceup got TOTALLY messed up!! I don't remember how or why, but I do recall freaking out and trying my best to learn how to do faceups... it was a bad dream. One of those ones where you wake up wondering if it was real or not

 

I had a dream not too long ago about a doll I wanted to buy. It was a small dream, I wanted a Soom Roxen but didn't know how I was going to afford it. Went to bed and had a dream I missed out on her, and when I got up the next morning I felt so bad that I bout her.... Oh well lol

I also had a dream that all six of my BJDs turned into Barbies... That dream I still can't let go of lol.

 

I had a great dream.... I think... originally my plan was to order some outfits for an IH EID woman, then get the doll (can't have new dolls arrive and be naked) but I started drooling over some msd outfit both by IH and some custom made ones... and I bought 'them'... I did order an EID outfit too tho ;P... but the dream I had after that was of a double box opening... O_O. Does this mean I should go for broke (>< literally lol) and order both the EID AND the JID together??? I am working toward one of each size of the girls EID/SID/nYID/JID and an EID/SID man set so I have to pace myself... buuuut.... ^^

 

Last night I dreamed that one of my dolls was possessed by Samara from The Ring. Don't know if I should call this a 'doll' dream, or a 'ghost' dream, because in the dream I didn't recognize the BJD as my own, but I definitely new who Samara was. Also, no matter what I did to get rid of/destroy my doll, next morning Samara was back again, inside the same BJD I had just burnt, cut up to bits etc.

 

Lately I've been dreaming that I had dolls that I'd forgotten about. Last night I dreamed that I went back to the storage place and found an SD-sized girl, who had originally had dark-tone skin but for some reason I'd painted over ALL of her with lighter acrylic paint...Weird.
