  2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.     1. Whenever I have dolls on the way I am here! Stalking the waiting forums. The debate forums and generally adding to my wish list for next year. XD;;

    2. DoA is basically my desktop background... >_> While I was still working, I would take breaks occasionally to check my PMs, but since I got laid off, I log on first thing in the morning, and hit the refresh button every 5-10 minutes or so. :)
      I usually frequent the News page, as well as the Painting/customizing threads and the critique threads.
      I just like to know any new news as soon as it comes out, and I like to see what other people are doing with faceups and mods and the like, since I do my own faceups and plan on doing mods in the future.
      That, and it distracts me when I am anxiously awaiting a new doll. :P

    3. First stop, announcements and news. Next stop usually customization and/or marketplace. For some reason I don't look at galleries that much but I should, since the main reason I look at Marketplace posts is to get ideas... I don't know about addicted, since I do have a lot of other distractions, but I'm certain I've logged more time here over the last long while than anywhere else.

    5. I NEED to be here every day and gape at people's dolls because mine hasn't arrived yet. *weeps*

      ...Okay, actually I'm not sure I'll stay away when my doll finally does arrive, because I'll need to be checking up on all sorts of stuff, like how to blush and restring and where to get clothes and wigs and shoes and - ya know. XD

    8. Since I first joined the site, This has become permanently up on my browser. XD Not only are all the dolls awesome, I can't help but scope out the news forum, as well as the Marketplace! You never know what awesome deals you might find!

    10. I used to be addicted to DoA (I was online here everyday for hours) but I have since sort of moved on -Now I'm addicted to an anime figure collecting site... *sighs* Which ends up leading to buying more stuff.

      But its pretty easy to get addicted to websites and a lot of people do. ^^

    11. I have nothing but free internet access at work... So I do check in from time to time there. I try, however, to be really professional so I limit how much non-work web stuff I look at. At home... always seems like I have other stuff to do and yet I get sucked in for at least an hour. hehehe

    15. I had a LOT of years of "having a life".
      In the past, I would have silently judged the person I am NOW for spending this amount of time on a computer, with several tabs open at one time,,,DoA being one of those. BAcK when I "had a life" I found it a negative experience to even touch a computer, and did so only under great duress. This is how it was until about 2 years ago. Maybe underneath that disdain was the knowledge that I have what other people would call compulsive tendencies. I'm glad I overcame my total avoidance of computers because they offer a lot of good things.

      Especially good things now that I have medical issues which block many things I used to do. DoA has become my favorite place, and I see all the other on-line sites I used to frequent as leading up to here. The bjd world brings together all my passions. I have to fight off feelings that something is wrong with this picture.

      However, that tends to be the water I swim in. Harsh judgment and overly high standards for myself. Not that I come anywhere close to meeting them. Having them tends to drain all the spunk out of me. Believe it is called perfectionism and I would say that is a worse ailment than spending time here.

      And when I thought I was striving to live THE life...I have some doubts about how valuable all that was.

      I think, or do I believe -- 2 supposedly different personality orientations. ;) I am half introvert and half extrovert. This is a restful place for me. I wonder. Are the friendships we have here that much less valuable than the ones with people who can stop by and leave a dirty coffee cup when they go?

    16. I spend aaaaallll my time on DoA. What's dangerous is that on top of the 'regularly scheduled' DoA time (morning and evening lol), I seem to find my way here whenever a class gets too boring to bear... and that quite often ^^;

I'm here M-F about noon til 4pm....I have an office job and it gets REALLY boring, since I get my paperwork done early and then just take calls and that can be maybe 1-2 calls a day sometimes. My boss is fine with it. Its a small business and he'd rather me be playing and like work than quit b/c I'm bored. :P

    18. Since I activated my account a few days ago... geez, I've been spending hours on it! Going through pictures, doll openings and general threads.... Can't wait till I get permission to go onto the Marketplace!!

      Even if I'm not actively posting, I check it every hour or so to see if there are new pictures!
