1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

After selling doll - post, don't post/keep/toss their photos?

Oct 21, 2017

    1. Thank you all for you comments and many insights. I will keep my photos, all of my dolls were loved, thought the growing hoard was hard to keep up with, so the sale/reshelling of characters. I like having their photos and sharing what I did with them while I had them.

    2. The photos take up a lot less room than the dolls. ;)

    3. I keep all my dolls pictures.
I like seeing how I progresses with my faceups, styling, and photography. I also love being able to help people when they are looking for pictures of a specific sculpt, so I leave my pictures up and make sure to tag them.
I find it really sad when a sculpt lose popularity and all the pictures of it start disappearing off the internet. There's definitely at least one person who's still looking for those, but now they have no resources.

    4. I no longer post photos of dolls I've sold, but I do keep photos of them. You never know when you or someone else might require a reference photo

    5. I don't delete their photos but I don't post them either. When I post photos it's because I'm sharing my doll with others and I no longer consider sold dolls "mine." I might post a photo if someone asked for photos of a specific uncommon sculpt to help them out, though.

    6. Selling a doll makes me feel such loss that I have to get rid of all pictures. That said, I see no reason not to post any pictures when appropriate, whether you still have the dolls or not.

    7. I keep all my pictures but I don't post pics of dolls once I've sold them unless someone requests for a comparison photo.
