Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.       I finally did the face up for Ntombi and she is looking like the Queen B herself. Red dress is from Sartorial J Dollshe fashion size. Wig is Iplehouse FID size and fits well.
      I am not happy with the eyes that came with her which are not the handmade ones we used to get from aGatti so will need to replace those.

    2. I agree about the eyes, the ones with my Ntombi did not fit at all, even the face-up artist couldn't get them in properly, she now has borrowed a pair from a Raccoondoll and they are much better.

    6. It does. It also helps the joints somewhat, I found. It does rub off pretty quickly in there, of course, but it held those slippery hip sockets until I could get in there with the hot glue.

    7. She looks fantastic Walter! Good to know that the FID wigs fit. I'm not a major fan of her hand sculpt, they look a little odd to me. Are they in scale?

      I think the hand is in scale but the position of the fingers seems a bit contrived, not very natural to me. I suppose she is voguing or something. Or she just did her nails and they are still wet. Speaking of which - gotta do that too........

    9. For me her palms are to big, it's really visible on this second photo of yours Walter.
      Congratz on making her makeup tho. I bet it's really challanging to makeup so dark resin doll :)

    11. aGatti dolls do have something special, don't they? I love seeing all the dolls in this thread.

      News:
      My Thor has arrived, finally released by customs after I paid his ransome (€ 138,66 euro - that is one expensive msd!). What a beautiful doll! He does look a bit older than the actor I think (the upper lip seems slimmer than on the original version of the sculpt before he was send for casting). Not bad. I am very happy to have found an adult looking doll. And the actor may hope he'll have a body like this guy does:)

      Now my plans for him:
      - sueding (he flips all over the place!)
      - thicker elastic (would that help?)
      - face-up
      - find out were to find eyes that small
      - wig
      - decide on an outfit and actually make it? - Or buy something..? Does anyone have ideas on what would fit?
      - shoes... or where to buy them?

      Can anyone help with suggestions?
      And have any of your Thor's and Alex's arrived yet?

    12. First discovery for the mccc body: I put sd(60) girl leggings on him - and though his legs are shorter, it does fit very well in the crotch and around his waist/ buttocks. And he has "a gracious plenty" to fit in there! So yes, I am very happy I'll have no trouble with a pattern for pants or something :)

    13. Those who have ordered from NatZay on Etsy; how long did it take for her to send out your order? I placed my order two weeks ago and it is still on "Not Dispatched". I have messaged her, but would be useful to get an idea of usual times scales from those who have already used her.

    14. DIL and I placed an order in late Jan. I wrote shop last week and she said our order would be going out on the 24 th. So I expect our items by March 1st as I paid for EMS shipping. So depending on what you order as we did a big one, about four weeks.

    16. That could be DIL & My fault. I ordered a full set of 2 pants a shirt and jacket as well as shirts as did DIL and then I added 2 coats on top of that so we are talking about 12 pieces. I am sure once she has finished our order she will be back on track. I am sorry for the delay in anyone's order because of our's.

    17. Well, she just replied that mine will go out on the 16th, so that is about three weeks. Still a week longer than I would have liked, but sounds as though she did have a load of orders come in at the same time (I placed mine 26th Jan, so around the same time as yours). Although I only ordered two bits, it all adds up. Ah well. Good she is getting the custom.
