aGatti Doll - part 2

I aslo ordered mine around that time as you Max...and it was a special order, so I also have my share in the "delay" hahaha
Mine is finished (almost) coz I asked to change buttons for smaller one, but they will arrive within 4-5 days...so need to wait :P
But I already saw all teh set, and it looked nice - I asked about minor changes tho XD

 

Poor woman. We swamped her!

 

The clothes I got from Natzay were ordered Nov.10 , they shipped on Dec 5 with Russian Post and arrived on Jan 7. So a long shipping time but arrived safely with no damage.

 

Now i can join the conversation, i have an aGatti doll too! I managed to grab a Ntombi secondhand. And she is really amasing. I want to have a shelf full of aGatties I'm planning to make her a new faceup and change her eyes. And make her own clothes (I put on her what i had at home). Here's the first pic of my Leontyne

Yes, they are rather moreish. I have managed to stick at one body, but will soon have three heads for it. I suspect when the shorter body with the different knees and elbows comes out, I might be tempted to splash out on another full doll. If the beefy body had been truly beefy and the elbow and knee joints had been done differently, I would already have taken that step.

 

MadamMauMau, do you think Natalia's going to change the joints shape in mAA body? Personally I like the knees and elbows in the current bodies. They are prominent but very expressive. I want to have one doll on each body type at least.

 

She said "mBBB - height of 46 cm, will be other type jointes in knees and elbows there (because proportions won't allow to divide hands and legs as it can be done in the line C), besides, I plan to make less dry muscles, than at mCCC, but volumes of muscles will be not less, of course".

I personally am happy about this as the knees and elbows are the one thing I dislike about the mCC/mCCC. Although they are flexible, they are intrusive and unstable. I am hoping she might find a way to retain a good degree of flexibility with less bulbous and wobbly joints, but let's see.

 

Thanks for the info! I gather we'll see this mBBB body next year. It's not mentioned in Natalia's plans for 2017 on her Flikr.

 

You are absolutely right. I am reading mBBB as mAA, which it really isn't. Hm, as she is presumably working on the mAAA due in June, I wonder if she also was thinking of that, or was plotting far ahead? We will know when we see the WIP photos, I suppose.

 

Well, we'll see. I believe she's able to realize her ambitious plans.

 

My Vincent arrived today and he's already showing "attitude" despite his blank state. LOL.
I wish the tiny eyes I ordered were here.

Walter, congrats. He is so very cool. It is so refreshing to have "real" heads and not the soft, femmy and idealised stuff. What will you do with him?

 

I see Vincent as a dapper wiseass kind of guy. Will need to buy him a suit.(Although he looks cute in his undies)

@Therealwalter, congrats on Vincent's arrival! He is gorgeous even like this - without everything. His eyes seem very small. They look nice, very realistic. But finding eyes for him may cause trouble. What size have you ordered for him?

 

I have an assortment of 6mm ball with 2.5mm iris on their way from Russia. Hope they work for him and my girls.

My 6mm eyes that I ordered from Russia and were shipped mid January seem to have gone missing, Olga said she has had this happen several times recently.
