aGatti Doll - part 2

Soooo. In this stage... How are your predictions? How long before preorder?

 

Next two weeks, I reckon. Certainly by the end of the month. The only thing that might scupper that is that Natalia seems not to be feeling it atm. She usually posts a raft of WIP shots as she works on things. Not so much this time. So, she might not have the impetus to push through this last stage. Also, I wonder if there will be a third head with the mAA release. If so, we need to wait on that. But I am still expecting next couple of weeks.

 

I like the new body, it's extremely beautiful and seems very poseable.
I know for sure there'll be only two heads in the preorder, Tony and Bahir (both on Natalia's Flickr already).
I asked Natalia what nationality Bahir is. She says he's an ethnic Uzbek. But I think he may be good as an Eskimo or Aleut character or maybe Native American too.

 

Yes, I saw her response about Bahir being Uzbek.

So, has she actually said only two heads in this release? I missed that. OK, so strengthens my prediction that the next PO is imminent, then.

 

Yes, the info about two heads was on our local Russian BJD forum. I think the preorder is going to be very soon.

I wasn't sure I liked the idea of a shorter body, but I really like the design of the leg joint better (at least in the pictures!) I'll be safe until an elf eared hottie appears...

 

I cant wait to order. But it looks like universe is against me. I cent senát email to Natalia. It wount send. And even flickr mail says there is error. I tried like 20 times from yesterday. Today I tried my PayPal email. But it doesnt say if it was sent.

 

That's weird. Have you tried emailing her via her email address, just to check the money has gone through?

Just made my payment. I am looking forward to having two, full dolls when this body arrives. None of my 1:4 scale dolls fit together, so I am pairing them up! It will only be Guarvo and Alfarr fighting over the mCC body now. Misha can sit there all smug with his own.

 

So, Tony ordered! There isnt any waiting room for Agattis? That is pity. I would like to see how long are people waiting. And other stuff. Lol

 

I don't know that there are enough of us. We tend to chat in here. You could always start one, if you fancy it.

Waiting times have varied. I am hopeless at remembering times, but about three months from end of PO? I think? Someone with a better time memory can help out here.

I'm with you there. Little blue guys ... incoming (eventually). Warning -- the Russian Post Office can take a very ... long ... time!

 

@Julie M I ordered mine in tan. Thanks for the heads up about the Russian Post office. How long do they usually take, or does it vary?

 

I live in the northern Midwest and they typically take three to five weeks to get to me.

The Russian Post Office is antiquated and they do most things manually.

 

My Feegles are on their way home! And I am going to order Bahir too so an exciting time.

 

Hi all. I've admired these dolls for a while now, and want to buy Alfarr's head or a full doll. Did anyone try to put agate's head of Iplehouse FID male body? Do you know if it will fit the FID's neck? Thank you in advance for any info on this.

 

I think that they are not going to be compatible because of size differences.
