aGatti Doll - part 2

I saw a picture of a FID head on aGatti body and it looks good ( the size and proportion size ), but i don't think that agate's head will look as good on the FID's body.

So, i went ahead and payed for Alfarr ( she had two extra dolls in light and dark colours ). Mine is in lighter colour. She will ship him directly to a face up artist in Moscow, and then hopefully he will go to a seamstress, who will make a full leather outfit for him. The outfit will be expensive, but it will worth it. She makes wonderful outfits for MSD dolls. I am very excited to have Alfarr, i wanted him ever since she announced for a preorder, but didn't have money at that time.

 

<grumbles> Russian Post Office time must run on the same calendar as DollShe time. It has taken my Feegles three days to get from Domodedovo to the customs exchange in Moscow. That's a bit over a one hour drive.

At least yours are moving. I received a shipping notice last week, and the tracking still only shows 'Accepted' with a question mark. No particulars about which post office, or any of the usual things.

 

So, if I ordered a Feegle n the last preorder, should I have heard from Agatti by now?

 

It couldn't hurt to drop her a note. Since the Alfarrs have also just landed, perhaps she's packaging a few of each every day and sending them out.

 

Russia seems not to like letting go of its produce. It can take a LOOOOONG time for stuff to leave the country. I am on day six of waiting on the last NatZay order to even get on a plane.

ETA: For any trying to plan their spending, Natalia has just said that there will be an mCC release in January or February 2018, including Alfarr.

I really fallen for Alfarr. Knowing there will be a preorder soonish in spring is awesome. I thought I will never find a fashion sized elf. It was hard enough finding one in SD size and my Soom Dia is far from perfect... Soom added the light tan option after I ordered. Alfarr is everything what I wanted for my beloved character with his ears and to die for cheekbones.
He will be my christmas present.

What is the difference between the bodys? I want the highest one. Does tan cost more? Is it usual to just order heads? How much are they?

Tomorrow I will most likely try to read the threat on work if there is nothing to do. I saw some recommendations for eyes and leatherwork

Heh! My feegles just allegedly had a one minute trip through Russian Federation customs. I would be willing to bet that they'll sit in the regular post office for a few days to a week, and then be sent right back into Russian Federation customs....

 

Hey, so did mine! One whole minute. Mine must be in the next package over from yours. It will be interesting to see whose get home first.

 

I just bought Alfarr in light skin tone, and she has one more Alfarr in tan. The body is mCC which is the tallest and more slim than mCCC. She told me that her next preorder will be around December or so.

 

Just tried Tracking, and my Feegles are in Montreal, with expected delivery tomorrow! That was a lot faster than I was expecting.

 

Mine are still sitting somewhere in the Moscow Post Office. <sighs>

 

Martha, i can't wait to see what you will make out of them. Do you have any particular ideas for these dolls?

 

Yes, I'm going to make them like some of the little Fantasy Folk I made many years ago. Those were inspired by Brian Froud's Goblins, but were just static figures, and these will be so much better because they can pose. So they'll need armour, chain mail, and tiny weapons. But it will be a while, since I have a ton of other things needing to be done first

 

This going to be a very exciting project. I am sure you will turn them into awesome fantasy characters.

 

My Feegles arrived today...and without any extra taxes or handling charges!
They immediately cut some leaves off my ivy, and went looking for some weapons....

These guys are going to be so much fun.

LOLOL! I ordered the same two, but in blue ... round belly on the sweeter looking one and svelte belly for the one that looks like Patrick Stewart. I've also ordered one of those saber-toothed tiger skull masks. It just looked too cool!

As is typical with all of my orders from Russia, the Russian post office has gone into radio silence, and my poor Feegles are caught, doubtless in a sack of other allegedly EMS mail that is USA bound, in a never-never land. They probably have not yet been put on a plane.
