1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

aGatti Doll - part 2

Aug 24, 2016

    1. @suok2011 they may be painted more realistically. I think it depends on what pictures you want to do. For striking action photos may the repainted plastic ones are the better way cause with some putty dolls often can hold them. But for everything else: letter opener. Or try to make one out of worbla. A girl in our german forum make her dolls armour and weapons out of it and it looks not that bad. But I think she made them for a 72cm doll

    2. Aaaaand, 18 days after allegedly clearing the Russian Federation (customs), my EMS package with the Feegles is STILL sitting on a dock somewhere in Moscow. :doh

    3. Wow, that is a long time, even for Russian customs. I would consider contacting Natalya if it doesn't move soon. Perhaps she can chase it.

    4. My wee men are still in limbo as well.

    5. Yay I finished my drawing of my future Alfarr (based on a photo of the mold):XD:

I'm still torn between Skintone 1 and 2. 1 Is far too light and 2 seems on some pictures to tan for my beloved character.

    6. My Feegles were shipped on Sept 21. The finally got through customs in New York Oct 23. I blame Trump for pissing off the Russians. Or something. I don't think it has ever taken this long before. Hopefully, they will move now that they are stateside.

    7. @Uminari, love what you are planning for your Alfarr. He looks so handsome.

    8. Because yours came in -- I checked on mine. Mine were mailed on the 21st and cleared the Russian Federation on the 28th ... after which I think that they must have been having a party on a dock somewhere. They cleared New York Customs on the 23rd as well. They must have come across on the same sea turtle. :-P

The Russian Federation Post Office is notoriously poorly staffed, slow, and the workers are not paid well.

    9. I have had many parcels from Russia and they are never fast but this seems to be unusually slow even for them. One shipment from Natzay never did arrive but she replaced it at her own expense. You really cannot beat Russian doll making craftmanship for realism though so that makes the frustration worth it all.

    10. Interesting that the Feegle shipments to the US took so much longer. Mine were also shipped on Sept 21st, and I was expecting a really long wait, but they arrived on October 3rd. Mine went from Moscow to Paris, to Montreal, and then to Toronto.

    11. See, that's why I thought it was something political, not necessarily postal related. Canada and US should have been about the same normally. Plus you guys have the customs payment fiasco to go through which we don't.

    12. I had to wait well over three weeks for Anna, and at least that long for Thor. The first time I had this interminable wait (for an EMS package? Really?!?!?), I Googled Russian Post. They're infamous for long waits. I doubt that this is particularly politically motivated. They've always had crappy service. I was absolutely astounded when MB got her dolls on the 3rd!

    13. Eh on the NatZay parcel. I never received one from her either, neither did I get photos of it (a custom commission, so one would expect photos. Allegedly she couldn't upload them to her computer. Ever.) or a tracking number that worked. So, I'm thinking no package ever existed. Anyway, after a hell of a lot of toing and froing, I did get the stuff, which is of course exemplary. *Sigh*

But, wow, that was a long wait. Stuff generally takes about four weeks from Russia to the UK (half of that is spent in Russia, which is the really frustrating bit). Allegedly it is just the chaos (and corruption) of the Russian postal system.

    14. I'm in the Toronto area, so anything in the eastern US you'd expect to be about the same shipping time. I was surprised myself, fully expecting at least 3 to 4 weeks wait, but then just for fun went to check tracking to see where in Russia my Feegles were, and they were already inside Canada! That was totally unexpected. And there were no Customs charges, which was an even bigger surprise. It just seems weird that dolls shipped on the exact same day would take so much longer to get to the US.

    15. Mhm maybe I should think twice about ordering from her?

And I can join in the russian post is the slowest. I send several heads to my fav face up Artist in russian and one needed 6 weeks to arrive. Normally it was around 3 but this had to happen when I'm sending a limited of course. I even paid for fast Shipping

    16. NatZay's clothing are very well made. I have been extremely happy with my purchases from her.

    17. Agreeing with Walter about the quality of the clothes. Just be prepared to keep an eye on things and make sure your tracking number works.

    18. Ok
I will give it a try. Her things look so good and I hate sewing trousers

    19. Congrats!

What a great colour they are and what fun they are going to be!
