1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

aGatti Doll - part 2

Aug 24, 2016

    1. Raccoon Doll girls match reasonably well. They have more of the smooth idealism thing going, so aren't a perfect match. However, not too bad, with the right face up.

    2. Thanks for the photos <3 I really love the look of those.... and bought 4 pairs. woooops :sweat

    3. I bought three and thought I was exhibiting extreme restraint! :XD:

    4. What have I started?!

    5. Haha :D well those have a great price and look really good and I have 2 planned aGattis, 1 incoming Dollshe and Iplehouse FID. Those are needed (hopefully they don't look to clowny on the last 2). I have a serious doll shoes obsession (while I do not care for my own as long as they are comfortable)

@MadamMauMau god business for the seller? The end of freezing doll foots?

    6. They do look clowny on the Fashion 28Ms, at least to my eye. Don't know on the Mystic. Might be better, as it's taller. Mine were originally bought for my Dollshe chaps, but won't do. At least they have a use.

    8. Hahaha! Those are some exceptionally nice shoes, though. Do you think it would be wrong to overload my aGattis with shoes, just because I can't find any I like for my Fashion 28Ms?

    9. You can never have too many shoes. Ever. (He says, looking at the pile of trainers scattered across the floor. If only they kept themself in order.)

    10. I got this email But I cant figure out what she wants to say. I payed in full. She just didnt know how much would be shipping. So she said that when he is ready to be sent, she will tell me.

    11. It sounds like she's saying that people who ARE paying by installments are taking a long time to make their payments, and that this leaves her in a bad position. She has to pay a certain amount for the services, or the dolls are not cast and shipped to her. (I pay her by installments, although I do not have a doll on order now -- and now I appreciate where that puts her, and the good will that she has shown by letting us do so.)

    12. I didn't get one of those (I also paid outright). Yes, sounds as though she has been left in a spot by people not paying their layaway promptly. I can't remember if she has terms on her layaway (such as, if you delay on your payment terms, you forfeit your payments to date). Would be a real shame if she is coughing up money out of her own pocket for people who are just not going to pay for their dolls or who will give her the runaround until they finally pay up.

On another note, I wonder if this means the last PO has reached her from the casting company?

    13. The problem is that most customers asked for layaways, that is why she is short of funds to pay for casting in full. She kindly asks to pay as soon as possible (those who can do so), because casting will not start until she is able to pay for it. The waiting time for ALL depends on how quickly she can collect the amount to be paid for casting of the dolls.

    14. The outfit for my Alffar is almost ready. So far it looks great. She still have to finish the top parts of the outfit. I can not wait to see him. I will probably choose the super fast shipment service, so i can have him faster.

    15. Wow, that is one spectacular outfit. Who is it that is making this?

    16. Her name is Tatiana Sharova, and she lives in Russia. I admired her work for a while now, and when i saw that she made similar leather outfit for another aGatti doll, i commissioned her outfit for my Alfarr. I knew that i want be able to make anything of such for Alfarr, so i decided to contact her. The outfit is costly, but Alfarr will look like a prince in it. I still have to make a wig for him, but i think that i can do it by myself.

    17. She really did an outstanding job on your boys outfit... may I should contact her too. Would be nice to have my boy almost complete when he arrives.

Do someone know if the artist of aGatti could send the doll to the face up artist? Barbelo lives in russia and she painted most of my dolls and I will commission her for my boy too... would save me a lot of time and shipping costs

    18. You could email her and ask. I would think that they could work that out for you.
I am really behind on finishing my dolls that don’t come with a face up. It is very nice when you are able to get the look you want.

    19. Tatiana has just finished a stunning outfit for my aGatti man. I have asked her permission to post a picture on my Flikr account so that I can share it here with you. As somebody who sews for dolls, I can tell you that her work is worth every ... darn ... penny!

    20. yes, she can send the doll to the face up artist. It is how i did it. First Alfarr was send to Olga, and then tatiana ( seamstress) came to pick up my doll. She also lives in Moscow so it was not that far from Olga. You just have to contact the artist and ask her to ship the doll anywhere you need ( you just have to pay for the shipment ).

@Julie M,I agree that Tatiana's work is outstanding. I don't regret the high price at all. She does everything by hands, and it looks absolutely gorgeous. I am thinking to order more from her in the future.
