Alchemic Labo Unoa "What Fits" discussion

I've heard that some Dollheart MSD shoes fit perfectly while others don't fit very well - which makes me wonder just what model shoes would be good fit and which wouldn't...

Have you tired several different Dollheart MSD shoes on your unoa/s? Do they all equally well, or as poorly? When you say that they are "a bit big", just how big are they? A couple of mm? 5mm? Or more....?

i had two pairs. i'm sorry i don't know the specific measurement of "big-ness" i sold the shoes when i sold my msd many months ago. i would estimate a half cm.

i also had some iching shoes that fit my unoa well but just looked too big, they look out of proportion.

i have to admit, i am really picky about shoes fitting well. even the shoe story shoes i have which are supposed to be made to fit narae seem too big to me. (i can take a picture of those if you like, so you can see what i mean about bigness)

i think weething makes a good size but they are hard to find.

some people say dollheart shoes fit perfect..i think maybe they are just less picky than me and do not mind the shoe being a bit big.

i have heard dollheart say that their shoe model is volks msd foot (after people complained that the shoes were too small for some msd)

i'm sorry i can't help you more since i don't own the shoes anymore. next meet-up i go to, if anyone's msd is wearing dollheart, i'll try the shoes on my unoa and tell you what i find out. you've been so helpful to me about unoss feet, i'd like to help you about unoa feet!

 

I have dollheart boots and they fit fine, I know there is some extra room in there, but more in the toe than the heel.

I just got a pair of rocking horse shoes, they don't fit perfectly, there is about a few mm space lengthwise that a pair of socks could fix. It isn't noticeable really.

Some of the dollheart MSD shoes fit my Unoa better than others. Luts Minifee shoes fit well, and I dont know what happened to them but WeeThing had nice fitting Unoa shoes

 

Shoes are being made larger because of the expense. They need to make them larger to fit a wider range of dolls. They are expensive little suckers and the manufacturer's need to make a certain amount per run and the buyer (DH, LUTs...) need to purchase a minimum amount. So when the designer designs the shoes, they make them larger hoping to fit more than one doll. Several companies got out of the shoes business because they don't want to deal with complaints that the shoes don't fit perfectly.

I've heard DOC wigs are a little smaller then most MSD wigs out there -- and I was wondering if they fit Unoa heads?

well the website says their DoC heads are 6-7"

I have a doc head but i've been letting him (Bee-A) wear 7-8" and it's loose.
if Unoa heads are 6-7" then i guess so^^

 

I keep leeke sized (yosd) wigs on my unoa. they are a perfect fit, although sometimes bangs may need a trim.

 

Mm, it's close ^^; my Si's default wig fits perfectly on my L-bi, but the default Si wig I have runs a bit small anways~ I have to stretch it to fit on my Si's head x3

this is nothing about the boots, but i'd be wary of that particular seller. they seem to violate copyright laws and scam people with thinking they're purchasing name brand [luts, ect] things that are actually cheaper home made versions that arent up the quality.

I have bought MSD and YO SD sized shoes from that seller and they shipped super fast by airmail with a tracking number- I hadn't noticed they were in the feedback forum about copyrighted stuff though. I just mainly saw they had affordable and cute shoes and had good feedback so I thought it was ok.
As for the shoes- some styles of the shoes and boots I got for both sizes are a wee bit wide but still fit nice and don't look like huge clodhoppers and fit even better with socks or tights. Hope that helps!

DollGa carries Leeke's shoes - as far as I understand exactly the same shoes.

Is 54mm the inner or outer measurement? If it's the inner measurement Unoa's 55mm-ish feet will probably fit very nicely. If it's the outer measurement they are too small for an Unoa.
The most common measurement given of shoes is the outer measurement.

Since Leeke calls their sizes SD, MSD and DollLeeke, I suspect that this means that DollGa's 79mm is SD, their 67mm is MSD and their 54mm is DollLeeke.
DollLeeke shoes are definitely too small for an Unoa.

Write them and ask to be sure - it would be wonderful if we had another source of Unoa shoes!

 

Honestly.. I would say it's outer size not inner..
That's Leeke shoes they sell so.. I doubt they'll have some extra size only for dollga.. But worth trying..
**edit** I've left them message.. but I'm almost sure they'll answer that those shoes will be too small for Unoa.

Definitely the 54mm ones are too small for Unoas, they are for Leeke/Yo/Bambi.
The 67mm ones are even hard to fit on this model are too tight, my MSD can't wear them but the same size in this is a bit big for Unoa, perfect for MSD.

It means 79mm : SD 13 Boy / 67mm : SD Girl / 54mm : MSD
They are same size as DollLeeke shoes.
