1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

    1. {grin!} My pernicketiness works the other way - the ones you're looking at have too many modern-looking details for me (chunky soles etc.) the Boneka ones look more like real Victorian children's boots (albeit rather plain ones), which is why I like them so much.

    2. MadamMauMau your Daryl is just gorgeous <3
Prudence mostly wears shoes from fa-tiao on eBay who fit her perfectly and have a nice quality - you might find some fitting ones in their shop maybe.

    3. I know what you mean, Teddy. My obsession is realism, meaning that I am prepared to compromise on the historical accuracy for the sake of boots that look like real boots. Whereas you are a fiend for historical accuracy. What are we like, eh?

Thanks Roterwolkenvogel. Do you have a link to her shop?

ETA: Don't worry. I found it. However, the smallest shoes I could find were external length of 6.5cm, and the smallest boots were 7.3cm! Do you have pictures of some of the shoes on? Perhaps a 6.5cm shoe wouldn't be so bad, and I am just being far too fussy (no change there, then).

    4. MadamMauMau Here's Prudence wearing one of their shoes (they are a rather tight fit with socks)

and one without socks for good measure - I unfortunately have no pics from the side.

    5. Thanks Roterwolkenvogel. I just had a loook in her shop and they don't stock those anymore but they have others which look to be based on the same sole, and they are 5.5cm inside and 6cm outside. Perfect! Trouble is, I don't need shoes in that style and their boots are far bigger. *sigh* That girl is going to stay barefoot for a while longer, I think.

    6. MadamMauMau I'm honestly glad Prudence has one pair of fitting shoes, it's a pain to finde shoes for dolls with such small feets so I feel with you and hope you'll finde a nice pair of boots for your little one!

    7. Double-post for the sake of Prudence in Cadenza.

    8. Oh my, Roterwolkenvogel, that red curly wig is hotness! Not that Prudence would be boring in any photo, thanks for sharing her! (:

And you were right. Her size is adorable in real life. Everything about her is adorable! I love the feel of her resin and her posing and her real ball shaped joints. And her thighs! Her wig is not here yet but here's one quick pic. Actually I got her more than a week ago after being on the way (to my dealer and then me and stuck at the post offices everywhere) for 3 weeks and could not wait another moment to open the package and put her together. I can't keep my hands of her and have been planning so many outfits and looks for her. But there's not enough natural light at these latitudes this time of year to take any photographs so you'll have to take my word for it.

Your girl is so vivid now!) I liked her with dark bluish wig too, but carrot gives such a different feeling.
