All Boys or all Girls????

Apr 14, 2010

    1. I have both boy and girl dolls..and now the boys is more than the girls..but I think in future, my girls will be more and more.

    2. I have way more girl dolls, but I'm very boy crazy and a sucker for boy dolls that look masculine

    3. I prefer male sculpts and always have. For now only one of my BJDs is female (out of 11), and the ratio probably won't change much. The male dolls are just so beautifully handsome I can't resist. I love girly boys, manly men and everything in between!

    4. Well, I started out with an all girl doll list, but there were a few boys that started to pull on my heartstrings a little(plus I'm sure my girls wouldn't mind some male company ;)). I don't see anything wrong with getting a few girls, even if you only had boys before. If you like a doll, then why not?

    5. I only have one girl so far, but I know in the future I want a mix. I don't think I could just go one gender.

    6. Hi~
I don't think this was posted before but I could be wrong :sweat

My doll family consists of 5 girls (3 MSDs, 1 Yo-SD and a 16cm tiny). I'm very comfortable with female dolls as I know how to dress them, etc (being female myself).
I recently went on the Rosenlied website and saw the Wednesday's Child Juniper, he's my FAR my favourite boy doll but I'm afraid I'm not going to be able to bond with him because it's out of my comfort zone to dress boys and things like that.

Has anyone else had the problem? How was it when the doll of the opposite gender arrived?

    7. I have an all-girls doll family at the moment, and I plan to keep it that way. I've considered bringing in some guy dolls, but they just won't fit in with the rest of my crew. Not just because they're boys, but because their facial features deviate from my preferred look for my dolls. Plus I wouldn't know how to dress them! I might end up giving a super-buff Iplehouse guy a dress. ; A ;

    8. I was an "all boys only" before and I was feeling the same as the OP. But I took the plunge and I'm glad I did :) I love my girls, so far I have 1 MSD girl and 1 puki girl (and 8 boys XD) but I plan to have more girls :D

    9. 90% of my crew is boys. As to how to dress them...do you wear t-shirts and jeans? So do guys. Easy.

    10. I have only girl dolls, both ABJD and OT. I have three real life boys in my house, so now I really want something pink and fluffy :) instead of cars and legos

    11. Only girls here and I think I'm going to keep it that way. I like pretty outfits and girly things, so I'm not sure what would I do with a boy.

    12. well I have about the same number of each. I just buy what I like no matter the sex.:D

    13. My first BJD was a boy, and for a while he was an "only doll" as far as BJDs in my house. I have a lot of other OT dolls and many of them are boys as well. I loved dressing my first BJD boy up with nice shirts & ties,or just casual with jeans and a plaid shirt. I have more BJD boys now, and I enjoy finding things for them to wear. They are a pretty laid-back and casual bunch. My BJD family is a fairly even split between boys and girls at the moment, and not all my girls like lace and frills. Some do, but others prefer their jeans too. :)

    14. Lol far from being only male or female... I <3 those that are rather crossover-looking. Beautiful boys, girls with an edge. #notcisgendered

    15. At the moment I have all girls in my family and I don't see myself adding a boy to it anytime soon.

    16. well for my preference i love boys and i have two boys and one on the way, i hope to see a girl bjd i like (i really want a dollfie dream ;-; but they are too expensive) >w<

    17. Ha! That is what I said about my BOY ONLY family.....It did take me several years to add the girls though.

    18. I never really thought about only girls or boy crews, I like them both... even though on my Oc wanna get list the boys far outnumber the girls lol, but either way i dont really care about gender since I made the characters just for fun and/or rp purposes. Admittedly most of my guys are from rping and the girls from stories and dreams, but I like them and I wouldnt really care if they could fit in with the rest because that would defy my whole purpose of collecting my Oc's in 3D form since they all come from either different stories, timeline or worlds.

    19. Eh...I never set out to have one of the other. My first doll was a girl and I've just only gotten girls since. I'll have boys on my wish list from time to time, but none stick. I do have boy tinies. I have a boy puki and a Lati White arriving any day now that's a guy. I guess I think a lot of the guy sculpts look alike, although I know there are companies that don't. I'm just waiting to find a boy doll and think That's the one! So far the only one to garter that reaction from me has been Doll Chateau. I do one day want a more balanced family though. I'm itching to make tshirts and baggy jeans and vests and caps and those just wouldn't look right on my girl doll.

    20. Uhh... I myself simply prefer boy dolls ^ ^ It's my thing! Simple said♥
