When did you order the pants? I placed my order on the 24th of January, and I'm still waiting. Of course, I ordered a crapton of clothes at one time... I guess I'll post on the Q&A board.

 

I ordered all the leather sets on the 24th too, and no confirmation of shipping yet. I wouldn't get too worried yet, Wotan!

 

I ordered on 2010-02-02. But then again. I only ordered the pants and a wig.

 

As big as the EID women are, they only have enough leather to make one item at a time. Order all four, and they have to head out to the stockyards.

 

I wish that my Jessica's character would wear those outfits! :O Especially the cat suit, haha. But, being a snobby rich noble-woman, she'd sooner do manual labor than wear it. =^i^=;;

 

Just wondering if any one else odered Jessica_Special Edition. The wait is always the hard part.

 

I did! She's perfect for my Pirate Captain! Hoping to pay her off this week. Just gotta find clothes for her now or sit my happy tail down and try to make some. Used to making Human sized clothing, not doll sized.

 

Yay! now I have someone to wait with.

odd, I though there would be more people ordering her. Though I there are less people the wait might go by faster.

 

Pam, dikadoll hands should fit; my jessica was wearing dikadoll boy hands, with long nails. Not much fan of the hands themselves, because the fingers tend to twist and bend, but they kinda fitted very well!

I hope it goes by faster! Although I'm debating asking them if they can add a set of these to the order. It'll push her shipping back a little bit possibly but, eh, I'm in the process of paying off a Soom layaway on top of this atm anyway. Not to mention there's no way she'll be here by next Sunday for this month's doll meet. So waiting is a moot point for me atm. Our theme at the meet this month is Pirates, so she would've fit right in too.

I have to agree that I thought more people would've been ordering her though. She's such a beautiful sculpt regardless of what skin tone she's in.

 

I ordered her as well, and they shipped her to me on Thursday, but she's been held up in customs for reason "other" since then (probably because of the holiday weekend here in the US). I'm praying that customs will release her soon and I'll have her this week. I haven't seen any owner pics of the new special edition Jessica with the special edition faceup yet. I promise to post pics once she's here.

 

Yay! Please do! I'm going to talk to Lady Samhaine of 1000 Cranes on Sunday when I see her at the meetup and ask her if she'd do the faceup on my Jess. I'd try it myself, but this char is WAY too special to me to even risk messing it up at all. The faceup on the site was nice, but just a little too much for me to pay and I want something a little more natural since my Jess is filling the role of my char Captain Beatrix "Blue Eyed Bea" McIllioch. Had this char for 10 years+!! And I'll finally be able to actually touch her, so to speak, after all those years!!! *dies with a happy squee*

 

I’ve been drooling over her sculpt since it came out. I didn’t want to pass up the opportunity to be able to get her in RS. I know people tend to cringe at the color change, but I still think it looks great. She looks like Wonder Woman to me. I’m even naming her Diana.
Normally I’d do my own face up, but I really like the one for this edition. I hope she comes soon. Good luck to you both.

 

I couldn't agree with you more, Ghost. As it turns out, my girl cleared customs last night, so I think I'm going to get her today! I'm so excited that I called out from work sick, lol. Plus, I think my Luna Tamer that I bought here in the marketplace may arrive today too!

 

That will be a great dolly day!!!

And I got a tracking number for my big clothes order for my Jessica! The great doll day continues!

 

No they were just the black leggings for $7.00. Was not happy that IP told me they were maybe put on wrong. I think I know how to dress a doll. Anyway got the refund on the ones I ordered and half back on the bad pair.

Sounds like your a good seamstress. I am still working on this scale, I used to make baby stuff. This is a lot smaller.

Thanks for advice Pam. I had both the red and black on wish list, but will buy them jackets made of fabric instead.
