Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. Maybe we should try suggesting to Iplehouse about redesigning the EID dolls feet joints so there are no problems with new dolls in the furture.

    2. I've done it for several clients.. haven't had any problems and have repeat customers to have this done.
      You don't go all way to the bottom of the foot, and the hook screw part is only about 1/4" long or less and its a tiny hole.
      ..you just have to know what you are doing..and luckily I do... and if my Luna's feet break I won't have to wait for replacement feet to arrive..I'll just fix them and be done with it.

    4. I got a reply from Iplehouse and all they're doing to fix the problem is send another replacement foot. I should be thankful that they're at least doing that, but I have a feeling the feet are just going to break again.

    5. My Luna's ankles are wobbly even after I pliver sueded them..I guess it's just another quirk to deal with..I am not sure if that little ring thing in the ankle does any good at all..I am tempted to just not use it..seems worthless to me.

    6. I just saw that Iplehouse cancelled my order on the replacement foot and refunded the to my paypal without a word. Either there was a miscommunication when I asked be reimbursed for the cat foot replacement since the high heeled foot also broke.
      I seriously hope they'll something to fix this, since this is almost enough to make me want to leave the hobby.
      EDIT: Now it sounds like they're refusing to send me replacement parts. Here's the latest reply I got:
      Hi, lovely Zais~~

      Urethane material is not very strong material.
      It is too soft material so that you can grind by sanding paper.
      So, any doll can be damaged easily.

      We think you would have to understand more the character of urethane and handle the doll.

      And we cancelled & refunded completely what you purchased.

    7. On page 3 of my mod thread I have pics of feet hooks that have been repaired to show you what the repair looks like, they are Soom Mecha feet but I've done EID feet too {both male and female I just don't take pics of them all}
      can't say more for fear of being warned of soliciting..but these can be fixed easily.

    8. What DOES that ring do? I can't even be sure I have in the right way up.
      As far as I can tell it's just in the way when I try to change her feet.

      I keep SHE's stringing very loose. There is next to no tension on her resin hooks.
      I dress and redress her so much while fitting commissions that I would have broken them if she were tighter.

    9. Zais, I don't understand this. Did you buy a spare pair of feet and then they refunded you for those or did they offer to send you a replcement foot for free (persumably you would need to pay shipping) and then refuse to send a free foot? I can't believe it is the former as you can buy what you want from their store, regardless of what you do or don't do to the doll. I have just ordered a pair of feet and have heard nothing to say they wont provide them.

      And has anyone seen that Asa has not been released as a standard EID? I can understand that Ashanti will only be released in a SE skin tone, but Asa? She will look wonderful in NS or WS. I will go and ask them *wants Asa in NS very, VERY badly*

    10. I also want Asa in WS but I think that there was a gap between the other dolls coming out originally in their limited skin colours and then being released as basics so I hope that when they have got all the RS versions out she will then be available as standard NS or WS.

    11. Hm. Generally what has happened is that the basic comes out as soon as the SE has run its course, which was on the 11th. But, yes, you might well be right and they might be waiting for the SE man event to end on the 18th. Anyway, I will let you know what they say.

    12. MadamMauMau, I ordered a pair of cat feet, though it may have just one, then her right high heeled foot broke while waiting for the replacement. So I asked them if I could get refunded for the cat foot and get both replacements for free since the second one broke a month after the first one did. Instead they cancelled and refunded me for the cat foot. Now it sounds like they are only going to send me the high heeled foot.
      I'm wondering if they don't have enough materials to make two feet parts, which if that's case they should've told me from the start.

    13. I think they may be just confused. Just keep after them.

      When I got my Yur Astrologer she was missing an eyelash. When I Q & A'd them about it thinking they'd just send me another eyelash, I was told how to put an eyelash back on. It took me another Q & A to convince them I knew how to do that and that she really came missing an eyelash. Then they wanted to only send the eyelash whenever I would place another order which seemed pretty strange and ticked me off a little but since I was buying the RS Yur it wasn't a big deal. When my RS Yur came I got the white cat eyelashes instead of normal ones. So another Q & A. Finally, this Monday I got my eyelashes with a clothes order I had done.

      Iple will do their best for you but sometimes you have to keep on them.

    14. I was wondering about Asa too!
      The basic Tedros came out directly after his NC edition was closed, so it's making me a bit nervous that she hasn't made an appearance. I almost posted in this thread with just that question this morning. Hehe.
      Please do let us know what Iplehouse says, and hopefully they are just busy and she will be up soon!

    15. Hey guys. I have a stupid question. Sorry I'm still fairly new in the hobby :)
      I ended up here when searching for Iplehouse YID stuff. I found the Iplehouse Mini (JID) Discussion, and now the Iplehouse EID woman discussion. You even have all the links for all the specific EID woman discussions.
      Am I searching wrong or something? I can't find ANYTHING related to YID girl dolls (found one discussion about the boys actually). I can't possibly be the only one planing on owing one of them... :(
