1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

ALL Iplehouse EID woman discussion thread

Dec 24, 2009

    1. Well, I just adopted out my Luna. If IH fixes the knee and ankle issues, then I will be back to get another doll from them because I love their style. Until then, good-bye!

    2. Catdancer, I think Im going to try tightening up my Yur, you have made me think! It may help with her knees after all. She is quite a floppy girl.
Im liking the SIDs, hope to see more soon. Maybe basic versions. Its all very exciting.

    3. I ordered a 65 cm YUR doll about a month ago . cant wait to see her.

    4. Iplehouse has put Asa out as a basic EID. I really like the A option face up on her, it's very soft.

    5. Oh my, Asa looks so beautiful! :aheartbea I really like the A option for face up too. It's nice to see her with different styles as I ordered my RS Asa without the face up and am still thinking what to do for her. Now I just wish IH could send her home... :D

    6. The A faceup looks nice but I still prefer the B faceup, it makes her look so strong! I wish I could see what she'd look like with eyes with smaller irises, I think normal eyes wouldn't do her much justice.

    7. That purple lingerie is a new set too.

I ordered my Asa with a face up but no ear piercing- did you do pierced ears AnnieStar?

    8. Oh my word! She's lovely as a dream. Hehe.
I am in love with the A faceup. <3

    9. kadepie: Yes, I ordered her with pierced ears. She'll be first doll for me with pierced ears. Exciting! I got her the default wig too (she'll be having black hair anyway) and a tons of clothing. That new purple lingerie is really pretty too, wish I could have ordered that with Asa. She looks so great with it.

    10. I am starting to regret not doing the ear piercing. I ordered the default wig as well but nothing else. Her clothes came a couple weeks ago. So she's pretty much set.

    11. Kadepie - ear piercing isn't too hard to do. You just need a very small drill bit. It might not be too late to ask Iple if they can pierce her ears for you.

Oh my...Asa is lovely in NS! And that outfit...I've GOT to get that!

    12. Basic or special edition or whatever? If it was basic you should be shipping soon I think?

      Wow... she is gorgeous.

      I agree. I like B much better.

Do you know if they take requests on dolls that didn't have that as an option? I am a little nervous about doing the piercing myself, but if I have to, then I have to :)

    13. Oh maaaan!! I am definitely putting Asa on my wishlist now and will probably start a layaway in the fall. XD

    14. I did Jessica's ears with a thick common pin. I just tapped it gently until it went through. Then I used a thicker pin to make it wide enough for the post of the earings I wanted to use.

    15. Like.... a pin for sewing? that is used to pin the fabric together before you sew? really?
May I ask you to post a pic of the ear and the pin you used? Please?
If you say it's easy and its the first time you've done it, then I'm definitely game to do Iris myself :D
I SO want her in tiny diamond earrings.
Speaking of which, did you glue the earring on after? Someone told me I can do that if I use an earring with a straight post as opposed to the "hooked" ones.

    16. a pin vice is a good way to pierce ears as well.

My dremel has a very tiny drill bit that I bought at Home Depot.

    17. I think I need more practice with the power tools before I stick them on the dolls :D lol
I hope to gawd I don't mess up the piercing. I'd die.

    18. Giodrakes - if you use the drill bit from the dremel you just drill the hole using your hand...power tools might be too powerful. The pin is another good idea. When you do it just take your time. I'm going to pierce my Luna's ears probably this week.

    19. you can also use a pin vise, basically tiny little drill bits that go into a hand piece and do it by hand- you can get them on Amazon for just a couple bucks..
