Oh yes.... everyone is freaking out over Asa She is really gorgeous.

 

I was leaning on Jessica as a possible future femme fatale character, but now, with Asa, I'm just very torn. She looks incredible in NS. I admit I was more blown away by Ashanti when the 2 of them came out as Special Editions, but I'm liking her a lot now.

Siiiigh, I guess I'll have to get to know Cherie the Bunny Girl first whenever she gets here) and see what she thinks

 

Ahhhhh! I have a femme fatale-ish lady planned as well and I was waiting for Raurencio Studio to release their Lady-Line. But then seeing Asa in NS...soooo torn. :[ I want an awesome HBIC doll to match my character. >__<

 

LOL, silly Iplehouse and their amazing dolls. I'm trying to hold out and wait until they come out with an Asian guy but they're making life hard for me with Asa and Tedros. I bet you could make some awesome costumes for that EID body if you had her. Hint hint. :P

 

I KNOOOW! Iplehouse...why do you do this to me?! XD I just made a fun white PVC bolero with buckles and matching top and skirt with white stockings for my Narae/Volks hybrid. The EID woman body would be so fun to sew for. I imagine sexy glamour vintage outfits as well as structured fun stuff.

Someone in the SID thread said they are coming out with an Asian guy sometime soon.

Yes, that is the pin I mean. Not sure if it's ok to post modding pics in this thread, but here they are. I did not need to glue the earring in, as it is snug. Try using a pin thinner than the post. Then enlarge it gradually using a hand sewing needle that has some graduating thickness until you get to where your post will go in snug.

Having come off a long doll hiatus Iplehouse is the only company that interests me. I put a Jessica on layaway a couple weeks ago and I'm thrilled to see the basic Asa. I love her with makeup A, even more so than the RS version. As soon as Jessica is paid for Asa will be going on layaway!

 

Go you, Coleen! I just came off a long doll hiatus (from 2006-2009) last year and was amazed with all the great sculpts that had come out since I had last been doll-ing! Asa is definitely a strong contender for layaway for me as well. I just think she'd be absolutely amazing for my wolf-woman character, Farran.

 

I'm another one who is coming out of a doll hiatus. I just recently discovered Iplehouse....way back when....most of the sites on bjd were not in English and I gave up looking at them. But now....I'm so hooked. I'd LOVE to get the SID Bunny Girl....but I just got Akando and Kamu.

My wallet is howling. But what fun I'm having again.

Oh duh, and I forgot to add...that I've been totally trying to decide which EID woman I want. It is hard to choose!!!!!

 

I've gotta say, NS Asa has blown me away. She was pretty but I didn't think that much of her when she came out in realskin, and since I generally prefer the look of realskin I wasn't expecting to like her that much, but in NS she is just stunning. I've been waiting for the right EID girl to come out, and now I'm reconsidering to see if Asa will fit the bill.

 

I actually like Asa much more in NS, it's a really flattering color for her. I'm not interested in buying her, but I totally encourage others to do so

My RS Luna shipped today, I'm so excited She should be here by Wednesday!

 

I knew Asa in NS would be a knock out and I sooooo want her, at least I may be able to get her once I get a job.....she is perfect for my character new shell.

 

It really was like that early on. I'd be trying to translate everything with Altavista Babelfish! XD And then trying to see what possibilities there were for shopping services. Cherie is super cute! I can't wait to see what other SID releases there will be. Congrats on Akando and Kamau! They are foxy.

As pretty as I thought Jessica, Yur, and Luna were...I just couldn't see them in any of the characters I had to fill. XD Asa is a much stronger candidate for one of my characters. Good luck deciding! Either way, you will end up with a beautiful gal!

I felt the same way about her in RS...I was just like, "Hmmmmm. I'll wait to see what she looks like in NS, but I'm not sure if I'm liking her." I was really blown away by her in NS. I too have been waiting for the right EID girl to come out and I think she might be the one for me.

Congrats! I think Luna in RS is quite nice!! Can't wait to see pics.

I'm hoping to put her on layaway. XD I need more funds for her!

I need one of those "banners" you have there. Sometimes I see something I might like a little bit in other places, but nothing compares, to me, like the Iplehouse and I'm waiting for my first doll as we speak 8-15 more days before I see "On Shipping"

 

Ordered my first Iplehouse, RS Yur. That gorgeous face with that smokey faceup just called to me. Questions: Site says 30-40 days to ship. Are they good at keeping their word? Yes, am used to Soom waits but, well, really just want her soon, lol.

Also, besides other Iplehouse guys, what other guys will she look comparable with, measurement wise. I have a Limhwa Mano I was hoping she might be paired with but am afraid she will amazon him out.
