1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

ALL Iplehouse EID woman discussion thread

    1. I've ordered Ashanti without a faceup, and I'm just waiting, but she hasn't shown as shipping yet.

    2. Yea, I ordered with a face-up on 3/16 and it's still before shipping. I am excited to see pics and actually see an EID woman in person.

    3. RROSS- When your girl arrives I would love to see pictures of her, I sooo wanted to order this doll, but could not.

    4. No face up for me.. Can't remember the exact day I ordered (and am too lazy to go check) but I got her payed off fairly quickly into the ordering period. Still on 'Before Shipping' as of this morning.

    5. I cant wait to get started on a project I have in mind and take pics. I hope to see her maybe by next Friday....

    6. Just a head shot of Nokomis. The red jacket makes it very hard for posing options.
The only other outfit I have at this point is a heavy sweater one- she needs more clothes. Believe me, she's already informed me she's expecting some soon.

    7. Oh your Asa is so pretty!!

    8. Yay! An Asa is home!
      Congratulations. ^_^

    9. Hi everyone
Haven’t stopped by this thread in a while. I’ve been meaning to post a picture of my Jess. She is about three months old and I have been wanting to give her a photo shoot. I’m currently working on a dress for her. Perhaps when I’m done I’ll get some photos up. I really like sowing for her body shape. I like all my girls, but sowing for her is so nice. I adore her curvy sculpt. She looks so good, and I really find her body shape refreshing.

Kadepie, Asa is gorgeous! Lovely photo.

    10. So I was wondering if anyone had any good restringing advice. I restrung and sanded my Yur today, and am having trouble with her legs twisting outward. I thought it might have been from it being too tight, so I took the knot out and tied her a little looser. Now it seems like less of a problem, but it is still happening. What would you guys think: too tight? too loose?

    11. Neither. Is the elastic itself twisted?

    12. Oh, I have that problem too, I restrung her with a thicker elastic... so it might be a case of tight+ thick elastic....

I'm not too sure, I think it's cute though, since her knees roll in and she seems modest.

    13. I've been lusting over Asa for a couple of days now and I have to wonder. Her height is recorded as 65 cm which is the same height as the S. I. D. models. Does anyone know if this means that Asa can fit into S. I. D. clothing?

    14. The SID girls are 62 cm according to Iplehouse mesurement. It's the SID boys that are 65 cm, I guess. Just as the EID boys are 70 cm while the girls are just 65 cm.

    15. If you look in Iplehouse's gallery, there is a posting with SID girls wearing EID woman clothing, and EID women wearing SID clothing. The answer is yes...if it is stretchy.

    16. Biggy: Well that's just silly. I guess I'm used to male and female models who are the same height with like one cm of a difference.

Lady Ravenswood: Awesome. I'll have to look through the gallery and see what I can scrounge around that might fit her. =)

    17. Hello everyone, maybe it is interesting .
My Jessica is one year old (arrived 1 Oktober 2009) and she is real skintone UV-protect resin,
with the time "real resin" could be green / yellow , but I can not see.
My Jessica doll is very often used and her place in my hobby room (daylight, but no direct sun)
Here Comparison photos with various light: left (hand used one year) and right (hand brand new and unused).

    18. Thanks for the comparison shots. I can hardly tell the difference. At most one seems darker than the other. It gives me hope for mine. I got my Jessica this year in real skin. She is hardly half a year old. I keep her on a shelf, but not in direct sunlight. It is also dark in my room most of the time. I’m hoping that she will age ok. I think I would miss her too much if I put her away. Have a doll in white French resin and I hardly see her. It makes me a little sad, but I take her out every so often.
I was just thinking to myself how happy I am with my Jessica. I cannot get over how gorgeous her body sculpt is. I think it is very refreshing to see. I have a soom gem, and I like her tons, and it’s not that I don’t like her body sculpt, but I think the prepositions are typical, and by “typical” I mean tinny waist and giant bust line. For the most part I feel like EID woman’s waist is in good proposition with her bust line. To me it seems so even with the large bust. I ordered mine in medium, so I can only judge the large size from pictures. I really enjoy sewing for her. Hopefully I will get a picture up once I am done sewing an outfit. She is my first EID woman so I feel like I still have new owner’s excitement.

    19. Interesting photos Anita. Thank you for the comparison. I really don't notice any difference at all other than the one may be a bit darker. Definately no green cast. Wasn't that just a problem with the first dolls before they had UV? I'm sure that any doll would change color if left exposed to light for long periods of time. The hands of your doll look beautiful after a year.

    20. Speaking of the hands... I was wondering if there are any poseable hand/finger sets other manufacturers make that will work, or can be adapted to work, on an EID woman. I would just like the option of posing the fingers for photoshoots. Thanks...
