Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     2. Its so great and shocking seeing a Super Gem next to a EID! I have a Dia and my Yur will be her pal ;) I thought the Super Gem was curvy, busty and big enough! Im quite excited by a chunkier doll though. I used to think the SG looked so natural but she looks so alien next to the body of the EID!

    3. Wow, thanks for that comparison, Wotan. She really is a substantial doll! I know she dwarfs my Volks SD.

      I'm probably not going to be able to get Yur in realskin, but I may get her later on this year in normal skin. Gah though, she is just gorgeous in realskin!

    5. I know right? Haha. I fell in love with the EIDs immediately. They look so realistic! And since I'll be using this Jessica doll to improve my fashion photography, it totally suits my purpose!

      Hmm....custom made clothes? Where can i find people to do those? I'm horrible at sewing! I prick myself with the needle so many times when i do try....

    6. You can find them at the Market Place once you've made 45 posts, although to commission someone, you'll have to be a member here for 6 months and have 100 posts according to the DoA rules.

      Ah EIDs -- it's always a constant search, finding the right fit from other doll company clothes. Fun, though ^__^

    8. I managed to find someone to commission clothes for my jessica! Yays! One problem though. I don't have my Jessica doll with me yet so I may need help with the specific measurements from time to time. Anyone here owns a Jessica doll and a measureing tape? :P

    9. I know this has probably been asked before, but is the mobility joint really worth the extra $20 to get? Jessica SCREAMS "Captain Beatrix" to me, a long time Pirate char of mine and I'm seriously considering getting her since they're offering her in the RS again for a short while. The other problem is, I've looked high and low for a white shirt that I can use for now and can't find anything I like. :doh Correction... anything Bea likes... :| Demanding Pirate Captain is demanding... :| Any helpwould be great. :sweat Also, is the posing as phenomenal as I keep hearing? :?

    10. IMO.... i don't care for the mobility joint..... i prefer the look of the thigh without the interruption of the line from the joint.... and i don't find that it increases the range of posing enough to make me want it.... but, others may have a different opinion.

    11. I didn't get the mobility joint and my biggest problem with Akando is getting him to sit. I may be tempted with Yur if I thought it improved her sitting ability, but Akando stands well so I'm not particularly worried. I think the leg looks better without the joint.

    12. There is a pretty easy mod you can do on his torso (leg sockets) to get him to sit better.
      I sanded off the point on his hip...there is a pic somewhere in the Akando thread.

    13. So for the most part the extra $20 would be better spent going towards a bag for her? Sorry, really trying to figure things out so I can budget so I can still pay the car note, my Soom note, and now a Iplehouse note. :lol: The line for the joint really doesn't bother me that much because Beatrix would primarily be wearing breeches. :| I don't see her -ever- wearing a skirt unless it's the only for her to sneak in someplace, and even then it'd be long since she's in/from the seventeen to eighteen hundreds. :lol:

    16. I have all three of the limited girls, but one thing is a bit of a pain--the knee joint. Has anyone figured out a fix for it? If I pose them sitting--then try to straighten the leg out--sometimes it does not want to go back into the knee socket.
