1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

    1. twig is right. I hot glue sueded an akando that I blushed for a commission. The knee joint would pop out even with the sueding.

on an unrelated note, I just got a shipment notice for my RS Luna! Yay!!!

    2. i don't have any problem with either my Jessica, Kamau, or Chase.... Jessica's knees were tricky at first... but with use, she has settled down. she is a great poser.

    3. I've found that the knee issue has a learning curve. At first (w/akando) the knees really bothered me but now that I understand the construction and have handled him A LOT, I find the knee is not a problem. Jessica's right knee completely dislocates fairly often but I now know exactly how to handle her to get it to go back in with almost no effort. The right one doesn't seem to be as loose. Of course if I would bother to tighten my vixen I wouldn't have this happen nearly as often! SHE is so loosey goosey it's almost funny.

    4. Honestly, I haven't had many problems with my Luna either. After having to take apart Akando to blush him, the construction of the knee joint kinda made sense so I know better how to work it now.

And speaking of Luna, I was taking pics of her for someone interested in buying her, and just happened to have my MA Saiph out so I took a shot of them together... holy crap Mecha Angels are GINORMOUS!!!

(kindly disregard the scraps of fabric on the table... and the work light... and the dremmel case in the background. This is my work area! :sweat)

    5. Oh awesome, MMM! Thanks! I'll have to ask them when I send them my next payment... in a month. :doh If I bought a small pair of "gold" hoops from say... Claire's, would the porportions be all right for the most part? Anyone know? :?

    6. Tiffany, are those the leggings from Dollmore?
      How do they fit?

    7. They should be...I use earrings from Claire's for my SD girls.

    8. They sure are, they're the model sized ones. And they fit perfectly. I was rather surprised.

    9. Me too! I use the little studs for my Jessica and they have silicone washers at the back which keep them on beautifully (the full-sized butterflies wouldn't fit behind her ear, I don't think. As it is, the posts just fit in there).

    10. Have you tried any other pants from dollmore?

    11. I haven't because I don't have any other model woman pants to try. I have mio sd16 jeans which I'm almost absolutely positive won't fit. I could try the various sd13/sd17 boy jeans I have, but even some of them would I think be too narrow around the hips for this curvy girl.

    12. also my Jessica have not problem with knee. She is perfectly photo model for me.
Her poses are very good, standing without support or sitting, here some pics of poses:

    13. Shoot...now I have to put those on the list of things SHE needs.

    14. Those pictures are awesome! That's good to know, since my EID Jessica is coming tomorrow! Whoohoo! So excited! I think I'll document the opening and welcoming of my new doll. Haha.

    15. Congrats Sherri!

I still don't trust mine standing on her own. Maybe it's the high heels I have her in!

    16. I've spent a little while "playing" with my Yur today and I really like how well these girls pose. The knee joints and elbow joints are a little difficult to use, but amazingly poseable once I got used to them. She also seems to hold positions better than expected. She came fairly tight, but not overly so.

I was looking over the mobility joint as well and I realized it does more than just let her thigh rotate. It also has different angles for her thighs. I don't see how this would endanger stability at all, but I'm not sure what it gained in mobility either. I've gotta compare on my Akando to see if this changed some, since on him sometimes it rotates when I don't want it to.

Overall I am exceedingly happy with her and looking forward to the new possibilities she gives my little doll family.

    17. Mine came sooo loose, she can't even begin to stand! I tried tightening her but she still flops over. I'm bringing her to an expert today. Hopefulyl she'll be restrung properly soon.

    18. Dollmore if I remember correctly. :)

    19. I just got a shipping notice for a pair of Dika hands for SHE.
I can't wait to see how they look.
      SHE is getting gloves!
I've never made them so small (just human) so this should be a fun project.
I'll post pics of her with the hands when they arrive.
I bought SD13 boy hands...hope the size is right.
