1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

    5. Everyone looks like they had fun at the bjd meet. I wish I could go but outside of the US is a little out of my range XD.

So many lovely dolls and outfits!

Here's a picture of Marlowe since he unfortunately couldn't be at the meet with you guys.

    8. Oh this annoucement is so sad! It sounds like things were really intense for them, but I understand running a business is tough and even harder when the public can be so demanding. I hope they can work something out later and still love their craft.

In other news, my head is finally coming back from the spa and I can't wait to share photos of her.

    9. I love stalking this thread and seeing all these wonderful dolls :D

Can someone please tell me if there is a comparison photo of all Amadiz skin tones together? I used the search and google but nothing comes up. I'd really like to see the difference between Bisque and Peach Cream skin:XD:

    10. @Darkling Here you can see the difference a little bit - Virginia in front is bisque, and Yolande on the right is peach cream. Both skintones are a bit darker in real.

    11. Thank you for your photo @Ashemanu they are gorgeous :DI really like Virginia alot and I wonder why they don't have a comparison picture on their webside. It would really help.

I was trying to find out if peach cream would match Iplehouse real skin to let my floating Iplehouse head share body with an Amadiz girl. Bisque doesn't seem to work.

Sadly there are not many Amadiz dolls around so it's real hard to find informations.

    12. Real skin is darker. I have a RS Storm, but he is rather old - at least the real skin from back then does not match, unfortunately.

    13. I have found that the thigh high boots from Sartoriaj work really well with Amadiz high heeled feet. and I use the flat feet with Iplehouse tie-up ankle boots...not perfect but it does work.

    14. I love this ballet costume- so pretty-- you were very smart to get it when you did. I am just heart broken that they are no longer making the SD size dolls, shoes, and clothing. My fondest wish is that some day they will be able to return to their accomplished creations. I believe Georgy has been working on a MSD size bjd- beautiful face and wonderful body sculpt. But it could be some time before they are ready to sell. I imagine it might take some time to re-source everything...

    15. I'm so excited to finally own one of these dolls, :whee: I bought a Yolande in Milky skin tone with their last sale of the heads on IG. It hasn't shipped just yet but I'm already planning! Does anyone have any advice on which companies have a close resin match? Or just some general advice on making a hybrid for them, like what would be an ideal body size? I know Amadiz's boy bodies are about 65cm, would it be best to just stick to that size or does anyone think I can get away with a body somewhere closer to the 68cm range? I'm looking to turn my Yolande into a boy and could really use some help to point me in the right direction.

    16. @Underthewillow congrats! Yolande is a cute sculpt, I have one too, but in bisque skin :)
Mine is a hybrid, I picked Dollzone b-60-005 body, and I think it works well^^

    17. @Underthewillow congrats on your Yolande boy!!! You will love him. I have a Yolande in milky skin too. As far as bodies you definitely might want to go for smaller 60cm bodies since the head is about 7-8 in size. The milky skin resin is just a tiny pink more pink toned than my dollstown and dollshe fresh skin. So you may want to look for really pale normal skin dolls like Resinsoul or Supiadoll. I'll get some pictures of resin matchs for you based on the dolls I have.

In the mean time here is a pic of my boy Marlowe

    18. He looks amazing! Just makes me more excited to get mine. Okay, so, a smaller body is ideal rather than a bigger one. I actually have a Dollzone b-60-005 body at the moment so I can test it out when he gets here. Though it's in new yellow tone so it definitely won't match. lol :XD:

He's so lovely! I didn't realize the heads were quite so small, it's definitely good to know it's closer to the 7"-8" rather than the suggested 8"-9" they have on the website. Pale dolls, gotcha, would you suggest WS options more then NS? Comparison pictures would be absolutely lovely!

    19. @Underthewillow thanx^^ Yep, I'd say that the head is not for tall bodies. Hmmm, my second doll is milky, and I'd say that it is a very light normal with a bit grayish hue. With faceup the head matches Supia old normal, so I think you have a chance :)
